The last time they hired an ex LSU Coach they were quite successful.
The same when they hired an ex Texas A&M HC.

Be carful what you wish for.

I expect O could be very successful recruiting for Bama. He did well at Miami, SC, and LSU.

I can appreciate having a passion for one's university/college but these grown folks are an embarrassment to themselves....far too much time on their hands.

But times have changed. It's a totally different animal now in the world of recruiting with NIL and the transfer portal.

I don’t think DeBoer ever made sense there. He was better off staying at Washington.

Oh yea, I heard them on finebaum today. One guy said they can go undefeated the rest of the season and they don’t want Daboer. Bama, welcome to the norm

Whoever followed Saban at Bama was always destined to have a rough time just because of expectations, you never want to be the guy who follows the legend. But DeBoer is looking like he really doesn't belong.

I think he is a good coach but is overwhelmed and probably underestimated how demanding and pressure packed Alabama and the SEC are.

I guess he’ll have tens of millions of dollars as consolation. It’s not so bad.

Clearly you don't. His name was SMOKE Laval. But, in fairness, he was pretty forgettable...

Conventional High School recruiting is dead. It’s all about money now. Throw in the portal and High School recruiting is further devalued. Orgeron’s recruiting techniques would be irrelevant in today’s NIL/portal world. Saban saw what was coming.

A lot of them scoffed at bringing in Dabo. He looks like a damn good option about now.
