A two for one: the fear porn anxiety crowd and the cancel culture get to collaborate on this. Throw in the people who hate to see LSU on top of the football world right now.

If anything, this is on Les Miles and Joe Alleva.

Hold up. The article says they were interviewing the girl from LSU a day before he got arrested. Talk about good timing.

Do you think the Redskins just happened to be interviewing her the day before?

He actually highlighted his subject, women and partying. Though you have been acting obtuse this whole thread.

You just described Dan Wolken, who is currently on twitter trying to get Orgeron fired.

They’ll have to provide a more Incriminating timeline than this

Let’s calm down. There’s a lot to unpack in this story. First of all O probably did say that, but despite the random and completely conjectured quote by the boyfriend, all indications are that most everyone thought Guice had consenually slept with that girl.

That’s what he told everyone, and this girl never filed any official complaint or told any LSU official otherwise. O thought he had a classic love triangle situation going on and was just trying to smooth it over.

As to the other girl, her allegations at face value are quite serious. But as of now she’s provided no evidence to back them up, at least regarding her complaints filed with LSU. Furthermore she hasn’t alleged that she ever told anyone in the football program her allegations. Rather she told the tennis coach, who didn’t believe her

That's not how it works.

If a girl was raped, and everyone knew it, yet NOTHING happened either legally or from a compliance perspective (from a HC that booted a SEC championship MVP qb for being an a-hole and A Heisman candidate for weed) there is certainly more to the story. I dont care about Guice, and im not some fanboy apologist. Ive seen this happen to a friend of mine and heard of many more cases like this. In case you haven't noticed, a lot has changed with casual sex since I was in college.

From what I gather, Ed was shoehorned into this story to point the finger at a current employee. I don’t buy that he’d be that crass with the other player knowing his GF was raped. More likely is that he caught wind of beef between Guice and him and attempted to squash it.

As everyone has said, Ed was an assistant and all the decision makers are already gone, so I’m not sure what actions should be taken.

Also, frick Derrius Guice. This is awful and I hope the victims get justice.

It’s possible O was addressing the locker room talk of multiple players sleeping with this guy’s girlfriend without any knowledge of the assault allegation.

It certainly is. It's pretty pathetic how the article doesn't explore that at all, but just leaves a mere assumption by a former boyfriend to be interpreted however. Awful journalism.

No. We have a Court system and Laws in this country. Apparently, many of you do not realize this.

We do not try cases in the newspapers or on Twitter. The 1st thing necessary to try a case is to FILE CHARGES which neither of these two females did.

You do not condemn an individual because you may not like him based on allegations from years ago which were never acted on by the supposed victims.

It is not LSU's place to act against any student based on unsubstantiated allegations. LSU is not a Court Of Law nor can they investigate Felonious allegations. These charges must be filed by these women and they declined to do so. So how does LSU investigate charges from anyone when they refuse to act legally against their alleged rapist?

Many of you need a basic Civics Course.

Thank God it was under a different head coach and AD when it went down

yep... I didn't know the details but i knew it was pretty serious... and I think the few got pounded for even hinting there was an issue
