He had it good but going down the same road his older brother did. It's a shame

How can you even determine that it's "weird" for O to bring it up?

Read the rest of your post.

Even if that’s what you think happened, it’s a weird comment for a coach to make

You had to be disappointed to see him at a pool party this past weekend in Lake Charles, while he's preaching publicly for everyone to do the right thing and wear a mask to have a season

I’ve read it 3x

What exactly do you disagree with?

They’re taking direct quotes from a player on Coach O, so someone’s timeline is inaccurate based on the little amount of info presented

The timeline is addressed in the article

Funny funny this sounds like a bunch of bulshit neither reported the incident to the police it's coming up years later after the fact. you never know they may have been trying to shake Guiceb down who knows but something just screams bulshit,

Again I hate it how somebody is automatically nowadays guilty-until-proven-innocent

Gold Nugget in Lake Charles Sunday

Then on Tuesday morning he's preaching for everyone to wear masks and do the right things so we can have a season

This is floating around now from a female Sports Illustrated writer who flew to Louisiana to do a profile story on Guice in 2017

Article

Well that doesn’t really move the needle on the alleged rapes, but it does show the team and program definitely did a good job of covering up that Guice was a POS for three years.

I don't know if that's what happened. It's a possibility though, don't you think?

Why is it a weird comment for a coach to make in that scenario?

It's not a stretch to say O could be complicit

It is 100% a stretch, based on the available information, to say that Ed Orgeron was complicit in covering up the rape of a player's girlfriend by another player.

complicit or at least lack awareness and sensitivity

These things are very far apart.

Title IX violations will not result in criminal charges, but it can result in sanctions. The constitution does not apply here

The Constitution ALWAYS applies. In any event, neither of these two alleged rape victims bothered to file rape charges at all. I am telling you that as soon as they admitted that they were so drunk that they didn't recall their own actions that this situation under any law or even your beloved Title IX became moot.

Who the hell believes they were raped and only approach a school via a Title IX complaint? If someone tried to murder you would you file a complaint under Title IX and wait 4 years to go public with it?

Some of you are naive.
