Also the filing of the Title IX complaint has yet to be verified. At this point she merely alleges that she filed a Title IX complaint against Guice

Incident 1
Took place in spring 2016 with Miles as head coach
Girl then let a friend on diving team know, who then informed her coach, who then informed lsu officials that contacted the girl but the girl didnt want to report and press forward
Then, a year later we have a random girlfriend sleep with people quote from Coach O
Not sure what else LSU could have done here, and the O quote put in here is pure clickbait shite
Incident 2
Tales place in June 2016 with Miles as head Coach and the female is a tennis player
She lets friends know, but no university officials. She then is kicked off by LSU for drugs, and sometime later after being kicked off files a report to Title Ix
So, depending on the title ix investigation, or the potential the womens tennis coach knew more, im not sure exactly what LSU did wrong, but it certainly doesnt mention anything about football coaches withholding anything
Good summary. Replying to come back to later

No, if you read the story, she was on the team and then after the altercation she fell off into drinking and drugs and was kicked out of the program and ended up going to to rehab. She retained eligibility and had the option to come back but chose not to.
On the roster and not a senior from 15-16 and then not on the 16-17 roster and didnt graduate.

When my kids say stuff to me, I believe them. They have no reason to lie. None.
Also to the commenter about the amount of chicks he was slaying that is another factual statement. Dude was piping em down. He definitely had a type he liked as well.

with all due respect you have a heavy bias in this discussion.
With all due respect, someone who had "drunken college sex", which by law is rape, also has a heavy bias.
They can justify it...or self identify as a rapist.

quote:And you have a very mediocre reporter for USA Today who's looking for some kind of story to break that will be talked about for several days, and LSU just had the season of all seasons and is on top of the college football world. So what better to do, than to try to tarnish a beloved coach's image just a bit and come up with clickbait/gossip/rumor to try and make yourself look like an awesome reporter who broke a scandalous story?

Dude is piece of fricking shite for doing that. He is everything that is wrong with journalists.

Sad fact is, Ed Orgeron gets clicks and views. Jennie Stewart, Bo Bahnsen, Joe Alleva, and King Alexander do not.

roster 2016
So redshirts were LaForge, McMillan, Lanard Fournette, Rory Duke, Chidi Okeke, McGee, Xavier Lewis, and Gounsoulin ?

She admits she fell into drinking and drugs before the incident. She says she was taking prescriptions pills that night.
Realistically, I cant Imagine that case would go anywhere. The issue would be if LSU was title IX compliant.
I aM also wondering if she filed a complaint? She left LSU soon after and the article says someone from rehab told LSU. Did she actually file a complaint herself?

Rapes in college must be off the charts.

Thats called "false reporting." There is no such thing as "regret rape."

Oh no doubt about it. But to throw his name in the story as though he was in any way at fault or even tied to with what allegedly happened, (KEYWORD: ALLEGEDLY) is a dick move. Whether it happened or not, Ed Orgeron should not even be mentioned any more than say, Steve Ensminger or Dave Aranda. Or a team physician. Or a team manager. We can throw any random name in the mix of somebody who was involved with the team at the time.

Or maybe you need to get off the internet and not assume that's the majority of people? Jesus Christ.

Yep, which is why she can't remember the "rape", not to excuse Guice's alleged actions.

Again, how old are you?
The DOJ has literally broadened the definition or rape, and feminists are openly lobbying to include sexual regret as rape. WaPo. Kavanaugh was widely labeled a rapist for allegedly grabbing a breast, over the shirt, in high school. #MeToo culture has changed everything.
10% of rape accusations in the last 20 years are false. Think about cases like Brian Banks, Malik StHillaire, or Duke LaCrosse.
Since title ix it's gotten worse. Athletes are 3x more likely to be named in sex assault allegations ESPN
Guice doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt here, but neither do confessed drug and alcohol abusers who refused to talk to police or administrators who attempted to help them, and only came forward after the athlete cashed in on NFL riches.

Umm Ed Orgeron was the head coach in 2016,Les was fired 4 weeks in.
This doesn't look good for O or LSU and you are making excuses for him.
