Remind me again of McElroy's NFL career?

I love when qb’s that were absolute garbage in the nfl try to judge another player lol.

What a dumb take from McElroy. He’s probably already in the top 10 starting mobile QB’s in the NFL and has plenty of zip even though he’s throwing on the run and off his back foot a lot.

Seriously, this take has no merit whatsoever

McElroy couldn't hold Burrow's jock strap.

Interesting stat. 36% catch rate.

As the prime WR he should have caught at lest 16.

If Green caught 16, JB would be a little over 70% completions - and I think Cincy would have won at least one game.

I like Green, but it may be time for AJ to retire.

Two washed up QBs who never amounted to anything in the NFL showing their jealousy of JB9. Nothing more, nothing less.

He has the most important trait needed to be a HOF or super bowl winning QB: blue eyes (look it up)

McElroy is the classic Bama homer that can’t give any LSU player his due, especially when it’s a QB who is better on his worst day than McElory was on his best. He couldn’t hack it in the league so now he talk about guys that actually can like his opinion means something. I don’t know what he’s talking about with Joe’s arm and damn sure not his athletic ability. He’s clearly put some muscle on and I saw several big time throws that McElroy wishes he could make and how can you say he’s not athletic as much as he had to run did his life with that sorry excuse for an OL and still keep them in the game?

Neither do 90% of the QB's in the HOF

I feel like you can count on one hand the ESPN "analysts" you can take seriously.

Jealousy is such and ugly thing..especially coming from a "professional". Greg Mc learned from the school of Finebaum..say something controversial and people will respond thus making you sound important in your on mind.

Truthfully, I was rather skeptical that Burrow's game would translate to the NFL.
But from what I have seen, I believe he has a bright future, if the Bengals can get him some help.
However, I'm not a coach nor a scout. Just a fan.

During the championship run last year, McElroy was acting like a little biased bitch in the media. He had no compliments to give out then either. Poor guy must have been some kind of miserable last year.

Fun fact

Burrow had more TDs in the 2nd half last night than McElroy had in his entire NFL career.

Not enough athletic ability? His first TD was a 23-yard run. Not what you would expect from a rookie QB unless he is an athletic running QB. He fits the ball in tight spaces all over the field (and has done so with very little time to throw so far), he can extend plays with his feet and is very physical for a QB in that he is very tough and is not scared of contact at all. He doesn't have a cannon for an arm, but he has a very good arm for the throws that great QBs need to make the most.

He is plenty athletic enough to be great. That might be his dumbest take ever.
