Someone needs to have an intervention with the Mormans and Scientologists.

So excited to play you guys- I've got tons of LSU fans that are friends. They know I'm Mormon but they graduated from LSU with an education. I'm sorry you didn't.

The Bible as such didn't even exist until well after John's life, and scholars are unanimous that several books of the Bible were written well after Revelation. Not to even mention that the number of books that are in the Bible depends on which branch of Catholicism/Orthodoxy/Protestantism you believe in (ranging anywhere from 66 to 80+).
the scriptures were approved by the one holy catholic and apostolic church and called the bible in 397 AD. thanks for playing

Thanks for proving my point...you didn't need to do that, but it was very kind of you.

If you choose to believe that being a Mormon is Christian, then I'm Joseph Smith or Bringham Young.
Heard the story and it doesn't change shite no matter how "nice" you guys perceive to be. Don't pay the church y'all worship and see where it gets you. I know several people that have left Mormonism for the same reason people leave Scientology.
Go on and tell the rest of he Rant about being kings of your planets.

Biggest take away from this "football thread"....many (not most) LSU fans are massive bigots. Sad.
I know it's usually a vocal minority but geez...

I dont think you know the definition of the word Bigot. Nobody in this thread is intolerant of Mormons. They have just been arguing semantics.

Mormons are legit retards. No functional human could possibly believe any of that bull shite without being severely mentally ill. Anywho, LSU 35-10. Magic Underpants ON [OFF]
Just a sampling.
And you changed my quote. I said "many (not most)".... you edited to fit your narrative.

You said many. That is one, and I don't have a narrative. The argument in this thread is beneath me.

By saying this you are suggesting it is representative of other posts, so please expand your sample to explain your 'Many' are bigot comment.
Until then, stereotyping a group or many of a group off one comment - one would almost say that you are obstinately devoted to your opinion and prejudices.
As a side note: Whoever did say what you quoted is an idiot for saying that and should be ashamed.

LSU over BYU by 120 in a Mountain Meadows type massacre.

After a couple minutes of looking, here you go...

- nonalcoholic beer pong - the polygamy dating game - temple garment autographing by BYU football legends - non-sexually suggestive or sexually euphemistic bean bag toss game (aka cornhole) -
God you people are dumb
Go back to your cult and 12 wives Brother Mongo.
You mean the magic underwear?
The Book of Mormon was read out of a hat by a lying moron who scammed you into your entire idiotic way of life
Joseph Smith was called a prophet dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb
I have met some nice, decent mormons, but the majority I've dealt with are anything but kind and caring.
And a bunch about "tricking" all our wives (we aren't polygamists) but those are more about people's ignorance than bigotry

Here's your football points.
LSU is so good defensively that your offense will be lucky to score 10 pts. I'll give 10 because of our young corners. Ok her than that our defense will be better than last year by a lot. So go watch our games that we lost. The best defense that we played with less talent than us was Wisconsin. It isn't a fluke those 3* white boys are so good - they played in a Dave Arranda system for 3 years.
On offense, it will stay close for 1.5 quarters, then our new H-back or Guice will make something happen. After that, the receivers in the slots will expose your lack of speed on defense.
There's your football now leave.

So you started up in a football post, with no provocation, to tell everyone why you think Mormons aren't Christian. Yeah you have no issues.
From what I can gather you don't have a lot of pure Christlike love for others, just those that it's easy to love. Best of luck to you in life, seems like a tough way to live.

Not to get technical on you, but you were arguing about comments in this thread.
Yes I acknowledge other items in other threads
If it makes you feel better I have the Book of Mormon a mere few feet away. Cheers from a Marriott

I don't know exactly how many folks have posted shite comments toward Mormon guys here,
but even a few is too much.
1) If anyone can't hold to your own morals, such as 'He who is without sin..cast the 1st stone' type of thing,
then I guess ethics & religious values won't get through to you anyway..
Which leads to:
2) Cold football reasoning: our SEC rivals, in *full* Lurker Mode, will copy the negative shite religious bashing comments >> so as to paste them to our recruits' twitter feed.

Three points:
1. Mormons are most certainly Christian (Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints).
2. The Trinity was the result of the Nicean Creed and thus, manmade doctrine. The Godhead being 3 seperate and distinct individuals does not in any way change our nature as followers and disciples of Christ, it just differentiates us from the rest of Christianity
3. I love how many of you patronize us (BYU) as if we are some lowly program who can't possibly compete with a high and mighty SEC team such as your LSU tigers, but I think many of you are in for a surprise at how physical and athletic we are as a team. Team play trumps talent which is why Wisconsin beat you guys last year as well as Notre Dame three years ago We won the 1984 national title putting just that concept to use and plan to bring that back in spades under Sitake, Detmer, Lamb and Co. You can be a 4 or 5 star player but if you are young and inexperienced and going up against a more experienced, but underrated player, the odds don't favor you. Just ask Texas.
