No. He’s saying use a little fricking common sense and don’t get into politics publicly in regards to your sports programs. I would hope you could understand why.

Landry doesn't "care" about LSU Football. He's an opportunist and used the abrupt firing of Brian Kelly while LSU had an interim President to make changes that he wanted within the Athletic Department and Academic Administration.

If he truly cared he would have handled this privately.

The end result appears to be a positive one for LSU - but how this was handled would have been disastrous for all parties, Landry included, had Verge not stepped up and/or Lane remained in Oxford.

It's suspicious that after all his grandstanding a few weeks prior that he wasn't at the Kiffin press conference.

Bruh you say “not to be political” and then your only addition the previous statement is to add the word “democrat”. I think you might be illiterate.

Do you think the parents of young black athletes and the athletes themselves vote/supports republican or dem? Be smart enough to keep politics (an inevitably) BEHIND the scenes at a state school..... if you value having a winning program.

bullshite! Landry had NOTHING to do with Kelly being fired. Kelly was gone after the A&M game regardless. Take your political CRAP to another board!

This is why he got involved so you'd herald him the hero and vote for him again.

And the SOB neutered TGBFTL at games in Tiger Stadium and turned them into annoying 3 hour Rap Concerts; took LSU fans yelling loud right out of the game.
