Tuscaloosa is no more rowdy than most campuses on game day. In fact after we won in 2005, my friends and I definitely should have gotten our asses whipped. We took over Mellow Mushroom right outside campus, stood on the tables, sprayed beer, did everything except burn it down. Bammers sat quietly and watched.

I always find it amusing when other Bama fans get angry when other teams (Auburn does this) twist the Rammer Jammer cheer around and give it back to us. I mean, when you do the cheer every time you win, you should expect it's gonna be given back to you.
I always just soak it up. Man I love college football.
Ok, I'll leave y'all alone and go back to the SEC Rant now.

Actually there was no "WE". In that instance it was "ONE" fan. And the majority of Bama fans condemned his actions. Bama fans have donated thousands upon thousands of dollars to help save the Toomer oaks.

2009 was the only time i've ever had a problem in tuscaloosa. i won't hold one drunk idiot against them though.

What does this mean exactly? Did he just stumble into you or did he actually try to throw you down?
He threw his shoulder in to my back as he walked past, and then turned around to see if I was going to reciprocate. I just smiled and said excuse me. Or maybe I said good game. It's all a blur at this point.

I don't believe I would've been able to keep my cool on that one. Yelling is one thing, but I can't put up with it when they lay hands on me
I can't either, but sometimes there is no way doing anything will work out well. I just defer to subtly letting them know that it doesn't bother me and they aren't worth it.
It was hostile walking out the stadium that night. If I would have done anything, I would have been killed I think.

PINSON, Ala. -- A Pinson man was charged with attempted murder for holding a gun to his son's head and pulling the trigger in the midst of a tantrum after Alabama's double overtime loss to Arkansas Saturday.
The bullet narrowly missed 20-year-old Seth Logan, who said he picked the wrong time to ask his dad for a car, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Randy Christian said Monday.
Joseph Alan Logan, 46, surrendered to police Saturday and was charged with attempted murder and domestic violence. He was released from the Jefferson County jail Sunday on $7,500 bond.
"I know we take football serious in the South," Christian told The Birmingham News for a Tuesday story, "but that's crossing the line."
According to the police report, Joseph Logan had been drinking alcohol and began slamming doors, tossing boxes and throwing dishes in the sink after the Crimson Tide lost its football game to Arkansas 34-31 in double overtime Saturday.

Had the air let out of 2 of our tires in 2007 by some Bama fans that stayed outside and watched the game on TV... they were friendly before we went in, but drunk and angry when we returned....

The only time I REALLY noticed our fans being unusually hostile as a whole was that 2009 game against LSU. I don't know if it was pent up frustration getting released or what but Bama fans in general seemed to be in a real ornery mood that night. I wouldn't have been suprised if LSU fans ran into problems at that game. Last year's Iron Bowl was similar as well.
Other than those 2 games, I can't remember another game where I sensed any general hostility towards the opponent. In fact, I think Alabama fans border on being lame going overboard with friendliness and lack of trash talking of opponents. We're tame by SEC standards.
