Just like dawn, always want to play the victim I’m sure he was bitching about the refs or aggressive play from USC after his interview during the 3Q break doing the same. "Similar comments".......he was such a prick towards Pat that she stopped the series that had been played for years. He was arrogant with a capital A to go along with being a huge arsehole. This has been his persona during his whole career. No fan of Dawn's but there should be little question about who started this BS.

Geno is frustrated because his team played poorly tonight. That's on him-- Dawn Staley literally outcoached the pants off the defending national championship coach. Don't read anything more than that into their post game squabble

I am "Team Staley" on this one. Geno was being an a-hole.
And imagine how much of an a-hole you have to be such that Staley looks like the victim. SC beat Geno's arse fair and square.

I watched most of both press conf. Dawn just deflected…”that’s a Geno question”

Best I can tell Geno was upset Dawn didn’t properly kiss the ring at half court pregame, even though she says she shook hands with UConn staff (and I saw video of Geno acting like an arse waiting for Dawn to give him a hug. This could be old video from previous game).
Sure seems like Geno got his arse kicked up between his ears and decided to throw a little fit to detract from that.

At the press conference he complained that she did not shake his hand at mid court before the start of the game. Sore loser. Good for her to give dish it back. of course she will be criticized. Time for Gino to retire. SEC !!
