I hope he was saying "alright, alright, alright" while he was waving.

Bunch of panty-waists all up in this thread.

I thought it was great and showed Burrow has tremendous wit and is hyper competitive - who would want a QB that didn't possess those traits in addition to his many talents?...

Football is an extremely emotional game and sometimes players do things out of character from the amount of adrenaline running through them. I’ll give him a pass.

They shot a frickin cannon through his jersey, shite talked all week about being DBU, then got torched by a QB and team that has been notorious for mediocre offensive play.

Not only that, but you know they screamed trash talk at him all game long and he ignored it.

Waving bye at the end is harmless.

I'll give this a pass, but truthfully there is no need for this stuff. There's a lot of football left to play and lot left to prove to the SEC and to the country.

Not a fan of that.

I loved it! The leader of the team setting the tone and that tone is swag biotch. Somebody has to be the villain and it might as well be us. Who cares what people think, Just Win Baby!

How can y’all say a wave was classless???

They literally shot a cannon through his jersey.. and this was his only response.

Y’all need to get over it. Y’all act like he went again talking trash and flipping fans off.

That was a little classless on his part. He’s a senior and headed to NFL time to start learning to be professional.

So I guess he should be practicing kneeling and sitting out seasons instead

According to post game talk from players, those fans behind the bench were riding him hard, above and beyond what was jawing. He did not jump up on the bench and scream, he just turned and waved coolly and calmly gave a classic wave. I am an old fart, not some immature whatever, and I loved it. LSU has needed a QB with moxie for yrs. and as Coach O described him, "he's a baller"

Kudo’s to Burrow. His reaction is first class relative to what most do. (Horns Down).

He waved to the crowd, with a veiled condescending “fu” to a few people that probably deserved it.

I wish him well.

I personally loved it. Texas fans had been talking shite for a week about how week 1 was a fluke and Burrow wasn’t anywhere near the level of their boy Sam. Game starts and Burrow goes out and throws for more yards than any QB ever at DKR at a 80+% completion percentage. Texas’ fans deserved to have their faces rubbed in it

Anyone who has a problem with it played in the band or travel ball as a kid. This is the highest level of football other than the NFL. The work these kids put in very few can or would do. Trash talk is part of the game and is just fine. Let the kids have fun after all the work they put in. If you don’t like it go watch someone take a chemistry test and listen to classical music.

There were 90,000 Texas fans booing injured LSU players. Burrow gets a pass for this.

They shot a cannon through his jersey and Joey B threw a dagger through their heart on 3rd and 17 punctuated with a good bye wave.

Karma, sweet karma.
