They shot a frickin cannon through his jersey, shite talked all week about being DBU, then got torched by a QB and team that has been notorious for mediocre offensive play.

There was nothing wrong with him showing emotion; he outplayed everybody on the field that game and I have 0 doubts he was hearing an earfull everytime he was on the bench from the crowd behind him.
He showed the same emotion in the UGA game last year. He's a winner, I will never hate him for that.

Don’t blame him a bit...I was at the game. Texas fans booed our defensive players when they were down. Most of the time no applause when they got up and in fact, booed even louder. Sure Joe heard the booing.

If you ever been an athlete and listened to some of the shite that drunk fans yell at you through the course of game you might understand. I've wanted to do much worse after a roaming the OF for a double header at Dudy Noble back in the day.

According to post game talk from players, those fans behind the bench were riding him hard, above and beyond what was jawing. He did not jump up on the bench and scream, he just turned and waved coolly and calmly gave a classic wave. I am an old fart, not some immature whatever,and I loved it. LSU has needed a QB with moxie for yrs. and as Coach O described him, "he's a baller".
