Nuss could have used the extra game too. It would help the game slow down for him. If BK goes with the TD popular vote and starts Nuss, I hope that he has developed the ability to check down. I got the feeling that he was not even looking for WRs last year. He was throwing the ball no matter what

skipping the bowl is a non-issue. It was a garbage bowl, and half our team was gone. It would've wasted an entire year of eligibility for him.

I've got zero problem with him skipping that bowl.

I have zero problem with Nuss not playing the bowl game either. I would though like to see how many posters want Nuss to start but shite on Stingley for not playing on an injury that required surgery.

@Chad504Boy hope you feel great. Been reading this board for years. You add nothing of value.

you're slandering an 18 year old kid's character with false facts and you're condemning me for adding nothing of value. good grief. get some perspective.

Didn’t slander his character. You said that. I said I had a hard time getting over him not playing.

He could have literally won the job that day. It was could have been a missed opportunity. That being said I like Nuss as much as the others, just want to see a team who plays hard for LSU and is well coached.

So you wanted him to blow a year of eligibility for that game? Short sighted.

I’m with who the coaches think is best.

He is going to have better touch on the long ball than what he showed against Arkansas. He was throwing it up. Even in the spring game he threw several 50/50 balls.
Miles was getting rid of the ball quickly and on target during the spring game. He just did not throw many long balls.
Hope the best man wins.

He wanted to play but our interim at the time - Brad Davis, wouldn’t let him, told him not to play in meaningless game and to hang onto his red shirt

Sounds like it’s pretty much a race between Daniels and Nuss now

Complete speculation.

Nuss’ lack of experience may hurt us but I’d rather develop him this year for down the road

We don’t throw away seasons to develop qb’s. We play the one who will win the most games. Which has yet to be determined.
