I like Nuss but still have a hard time getting over his absence in the Bowl Game.

Back in January I was mad about it to. But looking back on it now I honestly don’t think we would have beat K-State with him anyways. Don’t blame the guy for keeping his extra year of eligibility.

I refuse to listen to ANY hype. I'll jump on the LSU bus, regardless of who the starter is.

He will transfer to Ohio State and win a National Championship

Nuss’ lack of experience may hurt us but I’d rather develop him this year for down the road. Give me Nuss all day any day!

What Nuss lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in talent. Not to mention that Daniels 10 TD passes and 10 interceptions last year is the kind of experience most people usually want to keep under wraps.

Plus, on top of it, Nuss has been coached up all of his life by his NFL QB coach father who imparted on his son all of his knowledge, experience, and wisdom and that is far more valuable any day of the week and twice on Sundays relative to Daniel's lame experience.

No way brennan doesn’t start game 1

You must live in a hole in the ground. Brennan is practicing with the threes exactly because he didn't throw to the receivers all summer long like Nuss and Daniels did. Which obviously means he doesn't really care about winning the starting job.

Did Kelly, or another coach say this? If so, point me out where it was said.

Nobody said anything, but the fact remains, Brennan has only been practicing with the threes ever since he didn't show up all summer long to throw to the wide receivers like Nuss and Daniels did. He obviously doesn't care enough to fight for the job.

This is the truth and there is a good chance that LSU could end up benefitting in a major way that he was able to redshirt.

He will graciously be the backup and continue to collect his lucrative NIL gravy train till the end of the season. Then he will bid LSU farewell and ride off into the wild blue yonder.

I am on the "Who ever the coaches thinks is the best QB to lead us to victory each game" bus!

Yeah, whoever the coaches choose, I'll be fine with. Brennan has a strong arm and can throw a pretty longball, Nuss is athletic and can sling it anywhere on the field in a hurry, and Daniels can fly (and also has a pretty strong arm too). If things don't go well with whoever they choose, one of the other guys can hopefully come in and be the guy they are looking for.

Best all around talent wise is our true freshman QB (Howard)

With respect to JD's footwork project he's been on since the spring, Denbrock says he doesn't think it's finished yet. Which obviously means that he doesn't see Daniels as an accurate passer yet and there is only a few weeks to go to the start of the season.

Hence, with Brennan out the race and with JD's less than accurate passing skills, the writing is more than just a little on the wall. Anyone care to guess who will inevitably be named the starter at QB?
