If there's one thing that's obvious about Brian Kelly is that he has a way of doing things at the program level and nothing is going to get him to change that whether it's recruiting, other coaches, whatever.

It is and most were 1st thru 3rd round picks; not included is the guy who transferred out to Kentucky: Kelvin Joseph, who was a 2nd rounder.

He recruited those guys and coached them.

We are in a different place than we were when Raymond left.

We have a severe lack of talent in the defensive backfield. Raymond's ability to recruit is a huge benefit to us, especially with him being a LSU alum. And, his coaching ability is definitely good enough.

I'd hire him before the night is up.

They will fire him and Florida will still kill us in recruiting. BK can’t recruit to save his life

Successful people usually continue to do the things that brought them success. We understand that you'd rather the method of just saying the words people want to hear, throwing shite at the wall, and hoping it sticks. Binders put together by radio host are more your thing.

Why would you hire a DB coach, then get rid of the DC?

Because the head coach is the one that assembles the staff and he can do it in any order he likes.

Perhaps, but they gave up more yards per pass attempt than LSU and only intercepted 3 passes all year.

Sure, but typically the DC has a pretty large say in this.

Their defense was shite.

Obviously, they were better than us.

I’m pretty sure Kelly hired Cooks a couple of weeks before he hired Matt House

Are they really though? Don't forget when we played Army, MSU, Auburn, etc our defense looked competent. The first half of Florida's season they played Utah with their 3rd and 4th string QBs, Charlotte, Vandy, Tennessee with Milton, McNeese, Kentucky. Once they got to the part of their schedule that featured teams that could actually pass the ball they got lit up just as bad as us, suggesting their secondary numbers to start the season were more of a reflection of the offenses they faced than the ability of their secondary.
