I wont shite on a former tiger but the dude is not that great of a coach. We had a lot of secondary problems in his later years. Hes better than what we have but we can do better for a secondary coach

This is the general sentiment of the board. Personally I would be fine with Raymond especially with his recruiting ability but I also wouldn't mind bringing chevis Jackson home.

His last four years as a secondary coach have been putrid. Did he have some good years yes but his time has come and gone. There are better defensive back coaches out there and he is not one of them anymore. We deserve a top notch coach Raymond is not one of them. The people calling for him to come back are some of the same people who wanted Pelini back and you see how that turned out.

Ummmm not really. That title started to slip a while ago honestly.

2018 and beyond, Raymond started to slide

This is a good point.

wrong, Aranda thought the DB's here under CR were not sound technique-wise

Aranda is proving to be great..

I guarantee you our secondary would be better if he never left.

Gotcha. Bring Williams back too. You think Wardell would think about LSU

Context matters, he obviously felt he had to make an example coming to change to culture. With DH it’s bringing in a transfer and saying this is what you have to do to get on the field.
Two totally different situations
