He might join Aranda at Baylor, if Aranda is retained.

Already confirmed he will stay, but I would avoid Waco because I doubt Aranda rights the ship next year. He would get fired in BTB years.

You'd think this would expedite things at LSU. I'm not sure what we're waiting for.

Do you not think LSU has been putting feelers out and letting potential candidates know when house is gonna be let go?

We still carried the DBU title the whole time he was here.

Ummmm not really. That title started to slip a while ago honestly.

This is the rant baw. You lose a game and somebody must get fired. And replaced with somebody better immediately. You have one week to make it work. Lose again and another head must roll. At the same time we also want to hire the best of the best, but will complain about the amount of money it takes to get them when it doesn't work out.

Florida, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State are all looking for multiple defensive coaches.

I would love to say I fully trust Kelly, but this season alone he has verbally expressed his surprise at things not going how he had planned them. Hopefully he gets on this ASAP.

I don't think that's a good relationship, CR got pissed off when Aranda brought in Bill Busch and gave him the safeties

Downvote away but I’d take him over what we have now. We could use his recruiting. His coaching isn’t elite but it’s good enough if we have a really good DC.

Well we don't have a really good DC, so there is that. If we hire Raymond, then I think it means we aren't getting rid of House. Why would you hire a DB coach, then get rid of the DC?

Steeples is the worst DB coach LSU has ever had. I think most people can agree on that

The issue with Raymond was neither coaching nor recruiting; it was his tendency to flirt with our most bitter rivals every offseason to squeeze raises out of LSU
