Look at his other breakdown on youtube of the LSU offense. They're pretty much spot on, telling a guy from the left coast that LSU is more versatile than he suggests.

This. Without a doubt, he is the best color guy - perhaps in any sport. He talks about the nuances of schemes and substitutions. He'll be watching some obscure substitution that nobody else notices or mentions and say something like "oh, I'm surprised to see so-and-so come in - let's look for the XYZ play if the offense lines up like this".
He's an SEC homer, which he has proven time and time again. I still credit him with getting the voters to keep Michigan out of the title game in 2006-7 when he appealed to them directly to vote for Florida in the 4th quarter of the SEC title game.
And BTW, who else steps to the plate to take questions like this.
Everyone should just STFU and appreciate the quality of the guy's professionalism.

This is the first LSU-UF game he's not detailed the 2007 game at some point. Last year on the Jarrett Lee 3 and long pass to RR vs Bama, he heaped more praise on Lee than JL's momma would have.

Danielson knows more about football than 99.999% of the fans. He is imo the best in the business. His break down of a team tendencies, strength and weaknesses is amazing. He will call/predict what plays an offense will be using on a regular basis. You can learn alot about football just listening to the guy.

His response made alot of sense as his game analysis generally does. I have no problems with Gary, actually I think he's one of the best and I'm glad that he's one of the guys generally calling our games.

right on. and, i think he's the best in the game. he is currently the only football analyst that i listen to carefully. some people struggle with him because he trys to be honest and he actually has substance and not all "fluff".
