cliff notes please? cant open youtube at work

Danielson received comments/questions about being biased to a certain team each year.

He said he actually likes that people save this because it is what drive the SEC. When he says things about a team both fanbases hear something differently. He really doesn't make a priority on any SEC team, and admits sometimes he says things he isn't as clear as he would have liked to be on.

Said if this kind of passion didn't exist we would be covering PAC 12 football.

He says he calls it like he sees it. He has no bias. Players are just x' and o's. Nothing personal. He says Trent R is better than Ware because he's earned that.

If he wanted to work on games that didn't have crazy fanatics he would be doing PAC 10 games.

Something like that.

so basically he is saying..because of the "passion of college football" some games he gets to be a gater hater and some days he is pro alabama? frick that. You can't pick and choose what team you are going to be for when you call a game

Wow!! What a shot at PAC 10 football. Gary is one of the best out there, he appears to me to be very appreciative of the wealth of talent LSU has on it roster. He is a huge supporter of SEC football. I am a life long LSU fan, I love Spencer Ware as a running back, however RIchardson does seem to me to be in a class by himself!

So...what is the message?

He pretty much says that all fanbases seem to think he has a bias against them on any given week and it always changes, which is true.

He doesn't care about any of that stuff and he calls the games the same way each week, as he sees them.

Says he enjoys that fanbases do have passion because otherwise, they would be doing PAC 12 games. PAC 12 BOOM

Cliff's Notes: Daniels swears he's objective in calling every game. Fans can't seem to realize that due to their team bias. Made his standard, self-congratulatory mention of being a former pro-QB. Final (brief) remark was that if we didn't have this controversy about whether Danielson hates LSU (or FL or AL, or whatever SEC team), then we'd slip to level of PAC-10 football.

He'll certainly make Pac 12 / Pac 10 fans forget the Les Miles diss.

No, he's just saying that is how it appears to the fans sometimes.

HAHAHAHA...seriously, not just saying this, but he has to be drunk off his arse!

He is normally very articulate and sharp with his comments, his speech is slurred and he doesn't even answer the question...

i believed he had a bias toward bama but i think that was an excellent answer. I actually respect him more because of that answer and it kind of made me change my mind about him. I know a lot on here wont feel the same way

Everything he said was accurate and he is one of the best in the business. I don't get the hate.

Tons of Bama fans were calling in last week bitching about his hate for them, yet we all say he loves them. Impossible for fans to be objective or even to recognize objectivity.

He was talking about the comment he made about Richardson being a better RB than Ware right now, because of the fact that Richardson has earned that. He also said that if people didnt disagree with what he says (because of the passionate fans that is the SEC) that CBS would be doing the "PAC 10"

He also basically said he doesn't give a shite what people say or think

Gary Danielson is one of the better announcers. He generally knows what he's talking about. I don't think he has anything against LSU but if he does, so what.
