Because this is one of the weakest draft classes in years.

Maybe?

Now tell us who was catching passes from Burrow? What have they accomplished in the NFL

Who was catching passes from Daniels? How are Thomas and Nabers faring in the NFL.

Who was catching Nuss' passes? Will they be drafted?

Lol ah yes 8-5 Georgia.

Better than 8-5 a&m.
JJ played at #21(end of the season rankings)ole miss and #3 alabama.

I'm sorry facts shite on your opinion.
In no way was the 2024 sec schedule way tougher than 2009.

Every time you make this comparison, you come off as mildly mentally retarded.

It's not an argument. It's facts. If nuss was good in sec play in 2024 then so was JJ in 2009.

quote:

Most prolific first-year starter in LSU history with more passing yards, completions, attempts, TDs and total offense than any other first-year starter

And still couldn't have better stats in sec play than a qb you've hated since 2009 because he was better than Lee.

quote:

Qb a in sec play - 11 tds 5 ints 61.5% compl 130 qb rating
Qb B in sec play- 13 tds8 int 59% compl 127 qb rating

Those are objective facts. It's not an argument or an opinion.

Nuss OOC in '24
* #23 USC = 7-6 finishing unranked
* #22 (FCS) Nichols St = finished 4-8 unranked
* UCLA =5-7 unranked

Stop acting like nuss played a tough ooc schedule. Sure it looked tough during the season but by the end of the season we knew it wasn't.

Nuss was a better qb than JJ but this notion that Nuss was great in 2024 just isn't true when you look at the sec production.

In addition to a different OL coach, some better injury treatment would have also been a tremendous help to Nussmeier.

Nuss with toradol after he came back in vs Oklahoma 2 seasons ago was the best and most confident he’s ever looked I joked he should take it before every game.

He “took over “ a game where he needed a last minute deep pass and overtime to squeak out a win? How did the team wind up in a position to need those heroics if he “took over”? I recall him being pretty pedestrian in that game prior to the last 2 drives.

You have already proven yourself as an idiot but I guess you weren’t done. He didn’t have a run game and still found a way to elevate his game when his team needed it most. You even called it “late game heroics.” It’s like once your thumbs start moving, your brain shuts down.

If I’m an idiot I guess that makes letting you post here a red-cross / make-a-wish situation.

How much of a tax write off does the site get for letting you interact with us?

Not hating on the guy, but let's not paint him out to be an angel without all the facts.

Lulz

Thank you for taking the bait

2009 SEC opponents
* Vandy (2-10)
* Moo St (5-7)
* UGA (8-5)
* Fla (13-1)
* Aub (8-5)
* Bama (14-0)
* Ole Miss (9-4)
* Arky (8-5)
62-37 .626

2024 SEC opponents
64-40 .640

So we now know Nuss played a tougher OOC schedule, and a tougher SEC schedule. And yet had the best start for a 1st year QB in LSU history, which includes Jayden, Burrow, Jamarcus, etc.

So you can stop using your made-up stat, since Burrow, Jefferson, Jayden, and Jamarcus got to include their OOC games in their yearly stats too

Nuss has elite level tools, he has not played at an elite level yet.

Please tell me what is elite about Nuss. Because he has 0 elite tools. He has a big arm with 0 accuracy. He can't run. He looks like a newborn gazelle. He consistently throws off his back foot under pressure. He still uses a timeout on the first play of a drive. He still throws into double coverage for no reason why overlooking wide open WRs.

How the frick is statistics during sec play a made up stat? I'm sorry that it's a statistical fact that in sec play in 09 JJ had a better compl%,td/int ratio, and qb rating than nuss did in sec play in 2024.
