He “took over “ a game where he needed a last minute deep pass and overtime to squeak out a win?
How did the team wind up in a position to need those heroics if he “took over”? I recall him being pretty pedestrian in that game prior to the last 2 drives.

He isnt accurate enough and has the worst deep balls of any lsu qb ever. They showed a stat during one of Nuss' last game and he ranked 124th in completion of throws over 30 yards in the air.
I also think he quit on the team last year. If he isn't benched then he continues to play for lsu.

Nuss has elite level tools, he has not played at an elite level yet.
We will likely see how much of that was a product of coaching at LSU vs his actual skillset as he transitions into the pros.
