A&M sweeps double header against Kentucky to win series 2-0. No game 3, both games were 7 innings.
We really need to win this to gain some ground on A&M. Let's make that half game hurt.

Are you new to being an LSU baseball fan? I've heard several of you saying A&M may be too far ahead of us already.
Before it is over, A&M will probably finish 3rd or 4th in the SEC...it is VERY EARLY in the season. One series against A&M will wash away the lead. Even if A&M wins the SEC....who cares? If LSU continues to win their series, it doesn't matter what A&M does...LSU will remain top 5 and be a lock for a national seed......winning conference is nice...but at LSU baseball, the main thing that matters is post-season.
