Clemson went 1-3 against teams above .500 last year, with only win being SMU. They also lost to a team that didn’t win over .500. And you are in here stating that they have 10 first rounders from that team, 4-5 on defense from a defense that did so bad they fired their DC. Does that make sense?

They might be good, but they gave up a ton of points last year against good teams.

And how many have bama and A&M teams had in the past. Florida, Georgia, Texas. We’re used to it. Man up

Good thing it takes more than 4-5 players to win a football game. We have just as much talent as them. We will have a few high end draft picks as well and our blue chip ratio is 20% higher than theirs.

Why they're not being talked about as the obvious run away favorite to win the NC is baffling

Hell, sounds like they should be the unanimous pick to be #1. Better yet, anoint them #1, give LSU the loss, and save a lot of people $$$ travel expenses, hotels, etc. Wait, just maybe let them play the game. Yes, I’m sure I’ve heard that somewhere before…

Young cubs are coming out of hibernation. Fall camp started and now all the CASUALS are coming out of the woodwork.

People on this board will dismiss your point because of the average high school ranking of the entire roster.

What’s the point to dismiss? Are we supposed to say we don’t have a shot?

I’ve seen Mock Drafts project Clemson QB, DE and DT to possibly all be picked in the Top 6 to Top 10 picks in the 2026 Draft. Their CB also projected to be a 1st rounder. Clemson is good team but Tigers can win if the Offensive Line and Defensive Secondary play very well !!!

So BK should get a pass if he drops another opener…

The only thing that concerns me somewhat..

Is our inexperienced and still gelling Offensive Line needing to Geaux up against the #1 rated DE and the #1 rated DT on Clemson Defensive Line.

It is a legitimate concern. But only time and actual game play will tell us if it was a warranted concern.

Yup. And while I do not want to lose that one, it is one we could lose and still make the playoffs. If it doesn't psychologically gut the team, and I think it wouldn't, but it may gut some fans.

We could easily lose having a Top 10 team that will get much better as the season progresses.

Clemson is still in the memories as a great program because of the 5 year back n forth w bama and then us. Clemson hasn't been a damn thing since we slapped their teeth out in 19. Albeit a long one, it was a flash in the pan. Their competition is non existent in the regular season, ofc their players look good playing nobody all damn year, every damn year. Stop being a pansy, it may be coming to an end, but non sec teams being insanely overrated isn't over yet. There's plenty of stupid people to go around to popularize idiotic football opinions and assessments.

frick Clemson, we gave them the finishing blow to their program in 2019 and it's time to step up and remind them of the nobody pretenders they are, an empty shell of the 2015-2019 stint.

Won their conference 3 times and made the playoffs twice, LSU's 40-23 during that same stretch and needed a heisman qb to make the reliaquest bowl
