I know it’s a bit early but having the best offense and defense will cost us both Wise and Baker after this year. With that being said who are your favorites to land the jobs? Many head coaches and assistants for other teams have been/will be fired.

I’m enjoying them now. Will get interested if/when they leave after the season

I think the only way they for sure bolt is if LSU wins the Natty.

If they both leave for top HC jobs, that will make the LSU coordinator jobs extremely attractive.

A newly unemployed defensive Coordinator living in Waco would be interesting...

I wonder if he’s planning to eventually promote Cox when Weiss gets a head job. He’s Co/OC, I wish someone on our beat would ask Kiffin about what Cox does game planning as Co-OC

I think there is a chance they both are back next year. They’re not going to leave for just any opening (Baker/Tulane last year) and they both get paid pretty well right now.

Charlie needs Lane more than Lane needs Charlie. I wouldn't be upset if Baker decides to leave.

Baylor fired Dave Arranda today. I don't know if he's interested in coming back to Baton Rouge. I think Baker is going to get a big time job

Anybody who thinks the stay after this year is either delusional or in denial! I would love Venables and I also believe the OC to degree doesn’t matter because you can’t go wrong with too great offensive minds.

Their pay alone eliminates a large number of jobs. The question is what big time jobs will be open?

Neither Baker or Weiss is ready for the HC gig, unless at a small school....
plus they are they are the highest paid Coors in the business....$250K per month aint shabby!

I do think CWJ is sittting and waiting for the best situation. He isn’t gonna take a shite job just to be a HC

Same with Baker

Neither will go somewhere lower league who has no money. Neither will receive top half of league P4 offer.

Their pay is not even baseline for most major universities for example you think Baylor wouldn’t throw 5-6 million at Baker or Wise??? Man you’re crazy if you think this is true by any means. That’s double/triple what they make now.
