I’m sure some of them will rear their heads again the minute JD5 has a bad play but I’m proud of how you guys have been behaving yourselves and showing restraint lately.

On the play early in the 4th quarter against Mizzou when JD5 got hurt and Nuss had to come in, I saw that he wasn't ready. Daniels is quicker and his passing has improved.

Its even weirder that Jayden is having a Heisman type year and here you are, crying about attention the backup got.

Lmfao wtf could anyone possibly want more of?? Jd has stopped throwing late, he has improved every game throwing wr open and throwing g to the space that the wr is going to be not where they are at.

He is getting rid of the ball quickly as a result. I would like him to not take so many read options and stop tucking the ball so much u til it’s absolutely critical but damn dude is looking like one of the best qb in Lsu history and I’d say top 1-3 in the nation this year, he does it all.

Now does this mean I do not want nuss to play?? No I’d like the coaches to figure out a way to get him in the game doing something more then handing the ball off, the way jd runs it’s terrifying that his field awareness is going to Fail him at some point and he is going to get decapitated…. When time is right let’s get nuss some film to work on and improve from.

I was riding the Nuss Bus last year and through spring training as I thought that he was a better quarterback for slow developing route trees and making more accurate throws over the middle. I have heard the same old song and dance of how the quarterback had grown in the offseason and now had full command of the offense. Well it turns out BK is not Les Miles, Jayden really did turn the corner in a hugely significant way. Its a shame Jayden isn't getting more hype from the media.

I guess the moral of this story is that CBK can really coach and we likely should trust his judgement. He is still going to make mistakes and he can't fix everything over night. Just like I should have trusted him more on Jayden Daniels, I will give him the benefit of the doubt on defense that the correct moves will be made and they will get better.

I'm just happy our fans don't coach anything. If they were involved with this team the following players would be on the bench

JD5
Brian Thomas
Emory Jones
Kyren Lacy
Zy Alexander
Sage Ryan

While some of these players have obvious weaknesses and haven't had great years our fans just assume the guy behind them is better and the coaches that watch them compete at practice every day don't have a clue.

JD is playing at a high level Fo Sho. I wish he had the 2019 defense, his numbers would be insane if not the best with being on the field more with opportunities to score more.
Nuss will get his time next year with and even more improved line with veterans across the front so he will have his time to shine in the near future.

Weird, it took Jayden like 5 years starting for the lights to completely come on, and it'll be people like you that want Nuss thrown off the cliff within his first 2 starts. Love the hypocrisy that'll be heading this way.

I am still firmly on the Nuss Bus, I’m just taking a detour on the Jayden Train for a while.

I don’t think anyone has lost faith in Nuss, I think Jayden has just shown that he’s a top 3 QB in the country.

This is a totally unnceccessary troll.

Even if you were always on the right side of the JD/Nuss debate, doesn't mean you have to be insufferable about it.

I critiqued JD a lot. His hesitation or lack of confidence to press the ball down field was maddening and limited the offense. Teams towards the end of last season and FSU were daring him to throw it deep.

He’s grown, he now has that confidence to trust his arm and WRs and the Offense has exploded.

I have no problem eating crow and love seeing him and this offense whoop arse. It’s beautiful!!!

There were concerns with some of JD's limitations last season and it looked like they hadn't corrected after the FSU game. JD has flipped the switch and everyone is happy.

Contrary to the few that are agenda driven, most fans just want the team to win. Continuing to bring Nuss up when JD is having a Heisman type season just makes you look like an arse.

Oh they are still here, just in hiding waiting for one average game to be played by JD to start calling for his head again.

Why is is funny? JD is playing lights out, and is playing way better than he did last year and against FSU to start this year.

That's all I wanted - a QB who can make the reads and then make the throws. I was saying give Nuss a chance because it was obvious that JD was hesitant to make throws downfield and let the WRs make plays. If JD had been playing this way all along, Nuss wouldn't have been an issue.

Good grief you people are weird. You lack the intelligence to recognize legit criticism, then bitch that the criticism is gone when there's no longer a reason.

Nah man. Insufferable was projecting all of the teams weakness onto one player who was actually playing pretty decent and saying that the entire team would change if we put his backup in. Then when said player ups his play and becomes the best QB in the country acting like the hate of that QB was justified. Jayden hasn't been the best QB in the country all year and he didn't play his best in some games early but he was still good enough to win and Nuss was NEVER the answer although I do think Nuss would be a very good QB for us in the next few years.

For some, it wasn’t about Nuss actually being a better option (it was about the color of his……. socks). Those posters still come in a downvote any positive threads about JD. They just keep their mouths shut because they know they can’t openly bitch about him without getting completely ridiculed. You know who you are and so do the rest of us.
