I hate to inform some of you of the reality of sports but if you want to compete at the highest level then it costs money. If advertising revenues were done away with then your ticket prices would soar through the proverbial roof.

Buckle up, it's only getting more prevalent by the day. I read an article yesterday that cable/satellite TV providers are considering offering customers ad-free service for a premium....which likely means that regular subscriptions will be accepting/broadcasting more advertising.
