Sorry, but something appears very "fishy" about these sudden suspensions of SIX - 6 - high caliper OK players!?!
College Football, National Media Viewership, etc.........and especially LSU Playoff Games are Monster Huge Big Biz & $$$. Not to mention the Enormous Nationwide Exposure, University Reputation & Image, Public Relations, etc, etc. Oklahoma Media/Damage Control Spin Doctors may be concocting a scheme to "Save Face" in what was almost certainly going (will) to be a Catastrophically Embarasing Beat Down by LSU!! Ever here "Don't waste a Crisis"?!?
OK can take control of the narrative, & have the appearance of making/taking the tough, painful but morally correct "high road" by following the rules & disciplining their student athletes. They take what was/will be a Public Humiliation Nightmare and extract at least something by taking the moral high road & diverting/controlling & explaining a Dominating Sooner Defeat by the LSU Tigers!
Do Not Doubt it! It's even "smart" in a way. And it's done all the time, every day in Big Biz, Governments, Politics, Campaigns, etc.

OU site mods on 247 have kinda confirmed it. The only OU players that would probably cause line movement are Hurts and Lamb. Also the line has already moved significantly from the opening line.

If there really were 3-6 players suspended and at least two were starters I feel like it would move the line.

OU 247 insiders confirm there is a situation with multiple players. Won't confirm who, what, when, where or why.

Apparently there was also a coincident false rumor started by a Nebraska student about OU drug suspensions
This seems to be a different deal though.
