can tell you for a fact the offensive line is struggling tremendously right now.

They’ve been in a pads one day. We need to let most of camp play out before we make any assumptions.

Yep. And in the one day that pads were put on Durham broke a 40+ yard TD run untouched. The natural ebbs and flows of camp.

everything ive heard and read says the o lineman are winning a lot of their 1 on 1s ,its the team period thats been a mismatch. they will have to gel.

our d line is deep af and nasty so its gonna be tough for any o line to dominate us.
the offense will be plenty good enough. according to reports ,the offense is being built around deep balls ,screens ,quick passes and a creative running game.

I dont see a lot of slow developing intermediate routes being part of the gameplans until we get as a unit on the line.
we're just so talented we could literally run screens and go routes and be a top 5 offense.
barion brown, hilton and Aaron anderson on the field together will be a nightmare for teams on go routes.
and thats not including nic anderson ,zavion Thomas, treydez green, and Kyle Parker. we could bring in fresh receivers after a first down and have them against corners who just got done trying to keep up with brown ,hilton, and anderson. good luck

you could apply the same logic to our dline. we could bring in Payton and butler plus whoever our best pass rushin dt is and wreck havoc after the line is worn down from dealing with pyburn ,relliford, and company.

same at rb when Durham gets tired, we put in Harlem berry

but i expect QUITE a few sacks agaisnt Clemson. That DL is STOUT.

The sacks are secondary to me. If the front 4 can handle the Clemson run game (for the most part), LSU breaks the streak.

You’re using a catch phrase from a mildly popular TV series that ended in 1969. Your post makes almost zero sense. It might be time to give up the keys.

Struggling with what exactly? They’re in shorts and helmets.

I doubt Kelly ever wins a week 1 game at LSU.

Will be ready but, going against 2 Top 5 picks and Top 5 Portal DE isn’t going to reflect the future. On the other hand if they hold up and execute on the Road against that talent in their first game together it will only get better from there.

Thompson on saturday,in one on one pass drills, went 2-0 against Dom McKinely according to Moscona (locked on LSU pod). They were in helmets and shoulder pads. All linemen on line but only the one on one happening is how the drill was explained so not free rein of territory for defense like the one on one you see on some drill highlights.

Not according to Ruffino. None of Oline did. In 11 on 11 Reliford, Perkins, Payton, Gooden got multiple sacks and stopped many run plays. Also had Nuss on skates apparantly.

If you listen to AYS and Blake Ruffino most recent video posted like 24 hours ago, he said the O Line went 3-7 in the 10 1 on 1s he watched. Obv defense line meant they went 7-3.
