Daddy pays for them, so they won't care. Likely some really nice balls for whomever winds up collecting them.

An LSU fan should wear Ole Miss stuff and rain golf balls non-stop to inflict penalties on Ole Miss

Most Ole Miss fraternities know about hiding balls...but usually in each other's mouths.

Coaches need to borrow some of these from CJJ

Would love to see their own fans cause them to forfeit the game.
It would be the most fitting microcosm of their entire program.

Sankey would blame Lane kiffin partly and the game would just go uncontested.

The only comparison to the possibility of this one is old but solid. And it can cost the home team the game.
In 1989, Florida and Vanderbilt basketball teams had a very heated matchup in Nashville. Vandy was winning late in the game when a foul was called to put Gator center Dwayne Schintzius at the foul line. The foul was not popular with Vandy student section. While Schintzius was shooting the foul shots, Vandy’s students starting pelting him with tennis balls. But why?
Earlier that season, Dwayne was arrested for battery of a female (his girlfriend I believe) with a tennis racket. The arrest was pretty widely known. SEC schools gave him hell and lots of signs and name-calling. But Vandy took it further.
While tennis balls reigned, SEC officials gave the P.A. Announcer a warning to give to the crowd. The Vandy players such as Barry Booker and Frank Cornette were waving their arms for them to stop. They didn’t. The refs then called a technical foul with Florida now down by two. Schintzius went to the line and sank the shots and put the game in OT. Florida would end up winning the game. It was a major win as it propelled them in the standings where by season’s end, Florida would win the regular season championship. Vandy would finish 3rd.
Why would I drudge this near 40 year old story up? I expect SEC officials to use the same protocols. If Ole Miss fans want to throw golf balls, then the only punishment will be a 15 yard penalty, correlated with ejections of fans. And if that doesn’t stop, the game will be called for safety concerns I’d had to believe… and they’re not about to let the game be “postponed”. They will call it and LSU will win by forfeit. If these clowns want to throw things and he rogues, the whole TV world is watching and the refs will have no choice, and no, LSU being the “bad guy” won’t prevent them from penalizing the Rebels.
I hope the game avoids all of this and plays out the right way. But if Ole Miss students want to pull an even worse maneuver than ‘88 Vandy and cost Ole Miss another “dream season”, I say let them.
