I’d rather live in south bend than BR any day

And people here thought it wasn't a big deal he left yesterday without taking the job. Once he left Baton Rouge he was never coming back.

Apparently he’s a loser. Good luck with that

The Notre Dame people tell the story that Father Sorin and his fellow priests were headed west in covered wagons to establish a university. When they got to South Bend the weather was awful and they decided to stay there until the weather improved. That was in 1842 and they're still there.

I never understand the glitter of Norte dame. They are extremly overrated year in and year out and it’s super annoying
The powers that be in college athletics try hard to keep them relevant because their alumni are all over country and, for the most part, have plenty money to spend. Even though they will never again be elite, they will forever be elevated to false relevance.

That being said, job security doesn’t care how tough your conference is. At Notre Dame, you’re guaranteed at least 10 wins almost every year. And because of notre dame academics, you are given the excuse of not being able to get the top prospects.

At some point, Freeman is going to be sitting in South Bend and thinking back that his wife picked his next job...
He will be questioned down the road as to why he chose to stay in his comfort zone again. That will limit his HC choices.

We can find better defensive coordinators at Catholic High than this Freeman clown.
