Went to UNC a couple years later. Prettier place, more welcoming people at chapel hill. That place was like basketball heaven.

Yeah, the shine has kind of disappeared for him recently. Things collapsed at Arkansas in his final year and he's not be very good at USC. He's 14-26 in Big 10 play in two years with two finishes in the bottom 3rd of the league.

If you can't pile up NCAA tournament wins at McNeese, you probably should not even be a coach. (I will add that it's sarcasm as I'm pretty sure someone is that dumb)

But that’s the kind of “established” pool we can be in.
Can sell it as a winner in the SEC advanced in the tournament as the Wade detractors try to knock him on and say that the USC years were due to the terrible cross country conference.

You're assessment of his accomplishments are accurate and fair. Good coach, good results, not elite, especially in the postseason.

Vandy hired Mark Byington who had almost an identical resume to WW before he was hired at LSU. Both had 2 year stretches at mid majors where they won a bunch of games and both made it to the second round.
Look what he has done at Vandy in 2 years.
We know WW can win here and win quickly because he has already done it. And watching LSU basketball when he was here was just exciting.
