They came out pissed and they still only beat a reeling aggy team 19-7, trailed at half 7-6 after a putrid and penalty riddled offensive effort that looked a lot like the other first halves in November. Thank God for Kevin Sumlin.

Not all of them played hard, I think we had less than 100 yards passing against the aggies.

I know. Would be awesome to be able to cut and paste the exact same comment over and over again like you.

That's what the kids don't understand. Tickets will sell...and quite frankly you and I both know he doesn't have season tickets anyway. Look no farther than his writing style to see he isn't smart enough to be able tobearn a good enough living to buy season tickets.

I've never trashed the program. 100% support LSU. Always have and will.

It's sad that you confuse being critical of recent trends and concern over the direction of our program with "trashing the coaches and program." people come here to discuss the concerns and some of you waste time and get in the way "bashing" the fans.

Are you intellectually honest enough to admit you were wrong at the beginning of this discussion? As it stands now, you started by flatly stating that my statement regarding the huge amount of support for Miles by non-LSU people shows that a lack of emotion is a plus for Miles. Now, you are at least implying that is actually correct by moving the discussion to the the importance of a poll of less emotionally vested people.

ahh...the ole "they don't even watch LSU" argument. you're right...only the people that hate Miles actually watch LSU...even though we're one of the most televised teams in the country. you're in a vocal minority and it pisses you off.

try another argument next time

I don't agree with that point. I think people that don't watch much LSU football would most likely think it's best to retain miles but I don't think they are drilling down into the trends and signs like a LSU fan, emotional or not.

I will agree that it was out of line for me to call you out last night but that was a few cocktails talking. My apologies.

Don't hate Miles. Just critical of recent trends and results in west.

If you think people outside LA and the fan base watch the games and break them down like our fans, you are clueless. I live in a non LSU state and they have no clue what's going on with the program other than what ESPN wants them to think.

Choctaw, I ask you this in peace so there's no need to take an adversarial position in your response to me. I'm just curious as to your thoughts.

Are you okay with the offense in its current state as long as we can win 8 or more games a year, but not play in the SECCG and obviously not have a chance for the BCSNCG ?

Do you think King and Alleva need to go for the way all this was handled?

As much love as Les got after the Aggie game, he also knew that there was a death sentence on him from the higher ups. Will this greatly hinder recruiting and give opposing recruiters ammo against LSU in your opinion?

Does Cam Cameron need to be let go?

no...i expect us to win the west every 3-4 years. i don't really care how we win it although better QB play would be nice....which we've seen before. FYI...in 11 years we've won less than 10 games 3 times....so i despise this 8 game level that has been set for some mysterious reason.

i'd have to know more about exactly how it went down....but it didn't look good. it was a shitshow and i thought Miles was disrespected and treated like crap.

we're sitting at #2 right now with a good shot at getting back to #1. so no...i don't think so.

i wouldn't be upset if it happened. I wouldn't mind us going after Tony Petersen. that guys resume is amazing

Let's say after 8 years we don't win the west, you still cool with Les as the coach?

Players are always on the coaches' side. Listening to players is how we got Mike Archer instead of Steve Spurrier in 1987.

We could never win a game and he'll still want Les as coach. He's a Les Miles fan, and Les is all that matters to him. He couldn't give a rat's arse about how LSU does.

Which part? The positive opinion of Miles in the media, among football fans around the country, and in Vegas (completely emotionless via lines for LSU next year) are stipulated fact. There is no agreeing or disagreeing with that.
