LSU still played like shite against aTm.

They played like shite against Bama
They played like shite against OM
They played like shite against Ark

The only difference being that it looked like the defense actually stepped up in the last game.

Did anyone actually go back and watch that game or they just remember miles being carried off the field?

I didn't need to go back and watch it. I remember it vividly. That scoreboard should have read - 40(+) for LSU.

quote:

The players better "take it personally" all next year too if they want to save his job

I'm sure I'll get blasted like everyone else but I like Miles - I really do. However, he needs to be flexible and change with the times. As much as I love smash-mouth football - I love seeing the air assault from a team. Over the last few years I've noticed that it's been more mental mistakes and they keep piling up. These are drive killers.

Okay, so everyone wants to compare themselves to Bama and/or Saban - let's look at play from the SECCG. Florida punted and there was a clear block in the back from a bama kid. There was no need for it because they pretty much had open field for a return. That kid came to the sidelines and Saban ripped his arse. I mean really ripped into him. From the time he stepped on the sideline and down the sideline until he cowered away into the sideline. I bet that kid won't commit that penalty again.

On the other hand - do you think Miles would have done that? I don't think so. The LSU kids come to the sideline he puts his hand on their helmet and talks calmly to them.

I don't know about y'all but when I got in trouble as a kid - I was yelled at for the most part. However, I was also talked to calmly.

Other than that I didn't see a lot of mental mistakes by Bama - LSU has too many. Clear up the mistakes and this team is easily 12-0.

Which way makes you take it more personally?

I remember the idiot teachers that shouted at me too. They may have been good at their subjects but I hate them with a vengeance even today. I saw one at the gym last month, wished I could introduce him to my fist.

I see it but when did those penalties occur? Most of LSU's penalties happen at a tipping point. A big gain gets called back. Block in the back on a return. PI on the defense.

It's the timing of it.

I understand that, but it doesn't translate to guys leaving for the NFL early. IF they loved Miles so much, why not stay another year? I am referring to the guys not going to be a 1st rounder.

You seriously need to take your meds today. Ole miss hasn't been a serious contender for the nc under freeze and in over 50 years. Its funny you fail to mention the fluke game against bama...otherwise they have 4 losses before their bowl loss...unbelievable that you are on their band wagon...shite...why don't you jump ship....you won't be missed. The funny thing is this is the pinnacle of their last half century...while this is a low period for LSU....yet they both have 3 losses.

Regarding what miles took over...you mean the 3 loss 2004 team or the other thee 3 loss or more saban teams. One year in five he finished better than 3 losses....

Like Choctaw said...you are a special tard. I'm done with your dumbass.

I said if you are not a 1st rounder. Kevin Mawae said as much on Wednesday. Guys should come back. If you are a 2nd rounder and not in immediate need of financial support, then come back and improve and go as a first rounder.

Yes I understand it is hard to turn down 2nd round money.

still only beat minnow Texas A&M, who had nothing to play for, 19-7 at home.

Geez as if we didn't melt over getting beat by 2 TD's in the previous 3 weeks. Turn the story around and it is unimpressive.

And nothing to play for? How about beating your "rivalry" opponent for the first time since joining the conference? That is what is wrong with people like you, so short-sighted and unable to see that victories are victories, and you just don't get that many chances at achieving them. We were both fighting to avoid a 4th loss, how is that nothing to play for?

It is ironic, because I see every day people like you worried about becoming "mediocre", yet do everything you can to demean victories after we have lost 1 or 2 games. Quit being such pussies, or stop following football.

Sorry, I'm late. But here ya go.

Now how would you know I post on the soccer board considering 1) You probably think the sport is a left-wing so'shulist plot and 2) You're obviously too dumb to understand the game?

Checking my posts out, eh?

Not surprised you're a stalker as well as a troll.

aTm: Bad time for Brandon to have his worst game. I was south end zone field level and he looked bad. The receivers, excepting Diarse and the hands of stone, were open. Brandon will learn and improve. We need to put Diarse in the slot.

I would agree with the offense, but the D played pretty good. IMO
