Is this supposed to be news? Of course players are going to support the coach they came to play for...that doesn't make keeping him right

Fournette says the players took the Miles matter personal
It didn't show in the Arkansas game.
Or Ole Miss game.

It was very evident that the players were concerned about their coach losing his job by their stellar performance against Arkansas and OM.

(But the fans know better than the players. How many internet tough guys would tell Fournette he's wrong?)
This argument is a two way street, whenever a former player comes out and criticizes their jimmies are rustled

Miles has gone from mad hatter to master manipulator.

Heartwarming story...doesn't change the fact that our offense is archaic and boring.

I have no doubt that the players that signed with LSU, especially those who start, prefer to stay with the coach they signed to play for. I also have no doubt that students wanted Miles to stay as well.
But the ones who are not students who have to pay for tickets that they cannot even sell if unable to attend the games, I bet that demographic would show an entirely different trend.
Sure it is disappointing but if you ticket account is an investment you are doing it wrong

I have my own opinion, dummy, and it's not based on any of that. We were specifically talking about the opinion of those not as close to the program as fans, players, and (in my case at least) alum.
And when have the polls (LSU ranked 2 at one point), the media (lf7 a heisman lock) and Vegas (look at our record against the spread this year) gotten it right?
See you falsely assume that those not heavily invested in the program have a better shot at assessing the situation of our program. I disagree. And I am an alum, and the fact you had to go there to make your sh*tty point proves mine.

It's obvious that any sign of support for Miles...whether it be by a player, coach, or media...will not be tolerated and they will immediately be thrown under the bus.

Oh great, you again. Inserting yourself into a discussion and making the same mindless point again despite the fact that it has nothing to do with what we were discussing.
Try to slow down and actually read posts, think and then respond.

Does the OP really think any player would come out and criticize their current coach's HS level gameplan and lack of a plan b?
Do you follow CFB?
Was a pretty big story with Ohio state

perhaps you should actually read the posts. and don't respond to me unless you actually have an argument that you would like to lose

Go there? I am including everyone who may be too close to the program. You "went there" by trying to dismiss me with "mom's basement" and "grow up" shite.
The polls I'm talking about are polls asked of the nation regarding firing miles. The media look is in the context of there opinion on Miles being fired, which is well documented. The Vegas mention relates to their odds for winning the championship next year, with Miles as a coach.
This was all in response to a poster saying Fournette's response is based on emotion, implying that the less emotional opinion is that Miles should be gone. I suggested that was wrong, citing the above. You've done nothing to counter that.
This is as simply as I can explain it. I hope this clarifies my posts enough that you stop looking so stupid in your responses.

I just want to highlight your attempt to be proven right simply by your reaction to my comment as hilarious. "You said something that upset me. That means I win."
Yea, I'm the one that needs to grow up.

Another internet b@ddass. Don't have to read your posts. Same bs everyday. "You hate LSU, throwing them under bus, blah, blah, blah." Mindless fodder. No original thought and a waste of space on this board.

It's real simple, polls are worthless when you are polling people less invested in the program. Intellect trumps the emotional factor. How's that for simplicity?
