It is kind of bullshite that Parrish got no due process. Basically he was accused and therefore suspended.

From my understanding, it sounds like the accusation caused a suspension from the academic side of the university. That suspension meant a lack of financial aid and loss (temporary?) of scholarship, resulting in an automatic suspension from the football team.

It says he's been suspended "at least a year". The incident happened in January of this year.
