Look I know may be looking way into this but anyone who watched Jay’s press conference a few days ago saw what I saw. You saw a man pissed as frick that his team isn’t in Omaha. He knows what the expectations are here. Is it easy to make it to Omaha? No. But I can promise our coach will fight like hell to get us there next year and that’s what you’re seeing right now. We’re in good hands.

Now we're cooking with gas. The other pitching additions have been nice, but this guy figures to have a better chance at transitioning to the SEC as a true ace type. considering we don't know if Herring will return, and no one knows what Shores will look like, this was very much needed.
If all works out with the others I just mentioned, on top of this... That'll be pretty exciting.

I think him or Cowan will be a bullpen guy like Herring this year, especially if Herring comes back and then his Jr. year, he’ll be a starter. That’s my guess. Shores, Cowan, Sheerin, Herring, Anderson. That’s some guys right there as long as everyone is healthy.

He isn’t just competing the players already here. He’s competing with those players and 3-5 guys, on paper, who are better than he is.
He’s either going to pick a lesser school and get innings (always my assumption) or go to a school like LSU and risk not getting those innings if he were not to take a step forward.

He really does favor and i know ppl say we will never see another one and they are probably right but if we get 85% of something like that this is huge. Dude has great velocity with a ton of movement. Nobody thought Paul Skenes would be Paul Skenes either.
