So player does drugs....but it's someone else's fault? Ok cool. Victim mentality is a disease

It’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

let's not act like he wasn't a great coach overall when at LSU.

Everything post 2011 takes him squarely out of the “great” category….by the time he left he was firmly in the “sucks” category. His time at Kansas reaffirmed it.

quote:

Miles was a GREAT recruiter

Explain his consistent subpar QB and O Line play….he was an OK offensive recruiter at best considering the recruiting ground he had to work with at LSU.

quote:

his players played hard for him!

I’m wondering on that point if what Collins says is true.

Terrible coach. Only averaged 10 wins a season for 11 years and won a national championship.

You think? I'd like a link. Court documents verify that Miles specifically sabotaged Jalen's draft stock?

If so, then yes, Miles is a bitch for that. I just don't know the true story here, but am interested.

Sorry but if there was a failed drug test…..that is not on Les Miles. Collins was a great Tiger. Wish him the best.

Your main point is valid, Miles was good. But this quote is stupid. Kelly took over a program in shambles; Miles took over a program that was the best in the nation, at that point.

If Les was telling the truth, Collins has no one to blame but himself.

If he was good enough to play in the league it’s not like it would matter anyway.

How many players with baggage whether it be drug issues, legal troubles, etc have played a long career in the nfl?

Tyrann mathieu and joe mixon immediately come to mind.

You really believe that O was responsible for 15-0????????

LSU was 15-0 in spite of O.

To compare those 2 coaches is like comparing oil and water.

Miles is a fricking clown and would have NEVER been in the SECCG had he walked into the program BK walked into.

You people amaze me when you act like Miles built LSU from nothing. He did less with more.

His players played hard for him is about all I can agree too.

Even if true. . .

. . .explain how Miles ruined the rest of your career by having Collins keep failing drug tests in the League?

Miles made him do drugs?

And there is the truth.

2015-2nd round pick, Falcons signed him to a four-year, $5.42 million contract with $2.88 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $2.20 million
2015- started 2 games
2016- He didn't start until a starter was injured in week 8.
2017- Suspended first 10 games reinstated then released, suspended by NFL for 4 more games.
2018- In April, Collins was suspended for the fourth time in his career and received a ten-game suspension. after reinstatement, made Colts practice squad.
2019- practice squad, released, xfl, cfl
2020 through 2022- CFL released seems to be out of football

Yeah I hate coaches who sustain success of the previous coach, win a national title, then pass off the team to the next coach with enough talent that they win a national title too

LSU was far from "sucks" by the time he left, with O you can say that but Les never fell to those levels.

you mean all the 4* and 5* kids that came? Those are recruits, they were ranked. You cam argue development but he wasn't solely responsible for that but it also fell on his shoulders

LSU led the nation by a wide margin in early defectors during Miles' tenure. If true, I'm not surprised he resorted to sheisty tactics.
