I think the reality is that the sec will play football and everyone will survive. Then we can all point our fingers at the other idiots in January and laugh at them for wasting a season.

Typical fricking Alexander nonsense. What the SEC sees is that the Pac 12 jumped the gun because the window of opportunity to play football has not closed. The SEC may eventually call off the season, but it will try its best to play football before that happens.

I guess it depends on what "reality" he's talking about. If he means university presidents are being pussies who are more concerned about optics and potential lawsuits if players get seriously sick, then he might have a point.

Something tells me that's not what he's referring to though.

This guy was such a stain on LSU. He and alleva would have managed to turn this into a disaster. Good riddance.

In what reality is Covid 19 not gonna be here and a vaccine is going to be available in the spring? And then they are going to say it’s about health if the players then they are going to ask them to play two seasons in less than 12 months.

The SEC, ACC, and the Big 12 are choosing to deal with the here and now instead of kicking the can down the road to take all responsibility off their hands like the Big 10 and Pac 12.

Asked Oregon State president F. King Alexander what the Pac-12 is seeing the SEC isn't. "I think, probably, reality," Alexander said.

Does he want a list of all the organized sports that are ongoing since the start of the pandemic?

Because I can get him one if he wants.

LSU is waaaaaaay better off without F King and Alleva. What a disaster running things for a long time. Good riddance to that.

I think the SEC is dealing with reality...NOT the PAC 12!!!

The SEC is just delaying. Weather the decision is scientifically sound or not is debatable, but there will no football this year.

Not in the PAC12, not the BIG10 and the ACC or SEC.

Sankey is just delaying the announcement for as long as possible.

My Dad has cancer and is high risk. I have a new born. Want to let my Dad see my new born/his grandson.

Even a chance it could kill my Dad scares me.

And guess what, this applies to many.

There’s an example of a reason some folks are scared for you.

But hey, all the 20 years are safe - unless they give corona to someone they know who is high risk. See how this works??

Ps - no me admitting it scares me doesnt make me a skinny “pussy”

Lol
