I know Florida is playing a 16 seed, but some of that ball movement is incredible.

And their coach is a sexual predator. Wade should have done that instead of "being bad at paying players" and he'd be all okay.

Then why enter a thread discussing it? It would be hard for me to give less of a shite about baseball, but I’m also not chiming in to baseball discussions with folks who love it.

That aside, forget your personal feelings and look things from a business perspective. Whether you like basketball or not, the NCAAT is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and being a good team participating in it brings a lot of exposure and money. Wade and his school are getting a ton of exposure. Hell, the fricking water boy is getting more exposure than LSU has gotten in the, combined, last 3 years. It benefits LSU to be good and the administration clearly doesn’t care.

fired for being stupid

He was fired for something LSU is begging you to give money to them now to do…pay players. Might be nice to have a guy who was good at getting money to pay players AND can win with them. The AD deserves all the criticism he can get.

I think most of LSU’s “non-alumni” fan base are totally ignorant of this fact.

The poor performance by the current men's basketball coach, the bad decision to give him an 8 year contract and big buyout, as well as doubling down on the bad decisions with reports of more NIL funds for him to blow are lsu issues.
LSU Alums and Fans that love to Complain-A-Whine on the Rant, but wont contact McWoodard are part of the problem.

Send McWoodward and Keli Zinn a carefully worded e-mail and tell them you DO NOT want McHallman back as LSU Head Basketball Coach and tell them why.

If enough people complain, it could make a difference.

EMAIL for Scott McWoodward: swoodward@lsu.edu

EMAIL for Keli Zinn: kelizinn@lsu.edu

I was going to ask everybody to send Matt McHallman an e-mail asking him to resign, but there is NO EMAIL listed for him on the LSUSports.net web page

Anyone complaining about this post is part of the reason this board has been unbearable.

Unfortunately, those of us born in the last 40 years that don't agree with "America's favorite past time" slogan and aren't inherently racist, enjoy basketball more. Since we're in the minority among LSU fans apparently, we have to be loud about our dissatisfaction with the handling of basketball.

I said it would be good fir the men's team to be good, but what he did when he did it, it was illegal.
No revisionist history. He cheated then which has no bearing on what is legal now.
I never once said basketball shouldn't be good, just let the fired coach go and quit begging your ex to take you back.

Coach must have 2 strikes on him bc he is choking-up on that bat. Keep making those big hits on the recruiting trail coach.

Strange how that's largely being ignored and they shouted WW's issues from the rooftops every single chance they had. One seems unquestionably worse than the other to me?

There are several other examples of the double standard, but this one is particularly egregious if you dig into the details. And in this particular case, Florida is not even really a blue blood - which is the reason they laid off many of the others and put it all on LSU for.
