Fired miles for only winning ten games so eleven wins would do the job

This will probably hijack but Miles wasn’t winning 10 games a year anymore. He wasn’t just losing to Bama either. He was losing to Arky, Ole Miss, Miss st, Wisconsin etc. That’s why he was fired.

I don't think I'm supposed to say how I really feel. I've been warned in the past.

If everyone on the board is saying we aren’t very talented then how is a sub par coach supppsed to win 11 games with this roster?

Everyone isn't. Only the Orgeron loyalists who want to believe he inherited a total rebuilding job, so they don't have to hold him to a particular standard.

10-2 at a minimum. With the talent we have, and the excuse that Orgeron said we would compete for championships immediately, this shouldn't be too much to ask from him. At all.

I wasn’t as pissed initially as everyone else was about the hire. After thinking more about it and last year, he needs to go out and compete in every game for one, and go in the 10-2 range this year. Needs to make the damn playoffs next year. This team should be dominant. Louisiana produces possibly the best football talent in the country. Not to mention we’re right next to Texas, and in te South we can get guys from Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, etc. Time to start winning again.

If we get 9 wins, I think most reasonable people should recognize that he did a good job. If he gets 10 wins, I think he would have shown he can win big at LSU.

Yep, if you can’t have LSU in competition for the playoffs in your third year, you ain’t the guy. Bring in the next guy. Plain and simple.

when you get rid of a 10 win coach he kind of sets the bar for the next guy

I’ll say it again, last time Miles won 10 games was 2012. Did you people just forget that Miles was losing to teams like OM and Arky regularly?

Les won 10 in 2013, and would’ve won 10 in 2015 if the McNeese game wasn’t cancelled

I support O because he is LSU's HC, but I think 7-5 will put him on a really hot seat and COULD maybe cause Alleva to fire him.. 6-6, I think the chances are even better, but to "win" me over and make me have more confidence in him. At least 8-4.

11-2 with New Years 6 bowl game win this year and I’d be happily on board for next year.

Alleva will not get the chance to fire Orgeron. How in the world is that not clear to you?

I think 7-5 means LSU replaces its AD and Orgeron is on a 1 year leash. If it's worse than 7-5, they may both be fired.

He would have had 10 in '15 had a cupcake game not been cancelled. Unlike 0, Les never lost those. Stop being a hack.

If people are still arguing Les shouldve never been fired, you people are more blind than the O pumpers.

Nice try on moving the goal posts. You're obviously clueless.

I will feel a little better about him with 10-2 this year.

But he's not winning me over with just 1 season...i think his problems are more long term.
