The press will NOT let up on Kiffin for the entire season....
How will the LSU base react.....
The 40 million dollar team LOSES.....
Imagine the fallout, the negative narrative.....
I certainly hope and believe we dominate CLEM...Geaux (LSU) Tigers!

Until I see a healthy and effective quarterback running the LK offense in September, my expectations as to a good final record for LSU this season are not high.
I still think we will struggle to get to 9-3 for 2026. Just spending lots of money does not assure LSU of a CFP spot. We spent lots of money last season.

Agreed, a healthy and effective QB is a MUST.....period.
Leavitt has zero meaningful snaps for LSU....kinda scary!

It's a 50/50 game. No one should be suprised

What is the point of this thread? Why preemptively worry about a hypothetical loss 4 months in advance?

I hate to be the one to break it to you but it’s very likely that LSU to lose a game next year

It is not a 50/50 game. We are at home and favored by double digits for a reason. Try more like 75/25

It’s an easy LSU win……..Clemson was absolutely gutted during the recent NFL draft. The crowd for the opener will be a record !

I think we will win, but it could prove to be a closer game that we might plan for!
New coaches
New players
QB with zero snaps until fall practice
....just a lot of unanswered questions.....

Our offense was reallly starting to gel the last several practices, unless we lose the turnover battle by 2 or more LSU should win double digits as the line stands.
Losing 2 starters in spring is never good, but credit LK for getting a depth piece at corner in May.
9-3 with the right 9 should have us in the 11 or 12 seed area. 10 wins is a lock.
