He is projected a top 2 round pick, but is second in errors in the SEC, so I spoke facts correct?

The fact you mentioned Tulane in this group let’s me know you haven’t watched baseball in decades

We averaged 8 runs a game.

That should win you plenty of games if you have pitching.

I get we didn't have any pitching, but the erratic pitching changes cost us.

Make sense, please.

Yeah, but our pitching staff sucked the entire season. Lets be transparent here...if you compare this teams pitching staff with prior LSU squads, they dont stack up worth a shite. This was the worst bullpen that LSU has had in a long time and it came back to bite us in the arse this weekend. This regional was a perfect example of our woes on the mound. Our batting bailed us out the first 2 games and we didnt have quite enough left in the tank to do it again. You cant expect your offense to go out there and come from behind like that every game. Johnson will be just fine. He will go out and recruit his arse off now and go after some legitimate pitchers. I personally believe we are going to have to hit the trasfer portal for a couple of pitchers that can come in and contribute immediately. We are that weak in the bullpen. Thats what we are lacking on this team. Im still proud of the tigers though. We couldnt expect much more from this squad with our complete lack of pitching...its just not feasible to go much further than we did with that kind of impairment to our team from the bullpen. I fully expect us to be much improved next season. Geaux Tigers.

Put this pitching staff on any other team left and tell me how they would do. It’s really too much to overcome.

The biggest issue on defense was actually catcher, but your defensive catcher was hurt all season.

When it mattered most those two infielders were fine.

I’m not sure how anyone could reasonably expect much more given the pitching issues. Regardless if you have two golden spikes sluggers.

I’m saying that major league scouts recognize his potential, but he was second in the SEC in errors. How many did he make last year? Not near as many as this year? Which means his coaching was worse? Can you follow these points?

Without Johnson you have no Jacob Berry and prolly a few other players that had key roles this year and you don’t even have a winning record.Johnson brought you Berry,Jobert,McManus, and a handful of pitchers that without them we wouldn’t have even made the SEC tournament. He took a pitching staff that should have finished dead last in the SEC and somehow managed to be in the Top 5.Imagine what our record would have been with Paul M this year with that pitching staff and without some of this lineup and apologize to us all and delete this shite lol

Schloss was hired 2 weeks before Johnson. You think he took A&M from 9 SEC wins to a national seed because he was hired 2 weeks before Johnson?

People will try to blame it all on Mainieri while ignoring the fact that Schloss completely rebuilt a team way worse than ours and has them as a top 8 team in the country.

Why must we always blame a coach past or present for a season that ended without a championship?

We ended up finishing pretty much where everyone thought we would.
And some of the more negative bitches on here said we wouldn’t make the post season are the most pissed off fans on here!

All true! People think Johnson is the savior and want to continue to blame PM. This was not a good hire! What did he prove in the mighty Pac12??
