What are you basing this on? His reckless passion the last couple of games? Seems like he’d have seen the field a lot earlier had he really earned it. No vision, kind of a Spenser Ware type in that he runs hard but not productively.

Let me guess, he won't play a ton anyway?

That's what I'm thinking anyway, but coach o may want him in cuz he's been around longer, but he Polly doesn't have as many carries as the freshman do.

To be honest I wouldn't be shocked no matter which 2 backs carry the load.

Most games we play 2 backs only

What people are ignoring about CEH is his blocking ability.

I haven't been a big fan at all, until last game, he looked like he was seeing the plays or holes develop

Blocking is a mental game a lot of the time. You got to know who to pick up.

But we run so much 5 wide that we need a guy who can catch too, or we have to sub, then they can sub, and our offense becomes much easier to defend

Yeah, because no ones backup has ever been good. Ever.

This is nowhere close to as bad as the “Emery is gonna go off” people

Got thunder and lightening coming at ya, Curry will show ya he got it, curry is the lightening and tdp is the thunder. Emery got the hands and can juke n jive in open space. Just not proven yet, but they can handle it vs Oklahoma. I can tell curry wants it. He is hungry to prove me any doubt and anyone else doubt.

Did you just compare him to a running back that has been in the NFL for the better part of a decade?

He is who I always thought he was. A strictly north south runner with toughness. He can get you inside yardage and run over guys but he lacks the speed to get around the corner in the SEC. The same thing I got tons of downvotes for saying when we signed him and people were calling him “ Baby Marshawn”. He a decent player who can punish defenders but with a really limited upside in our league.

And receiving ability.

And his shear will to win. He has the same intangibles Burrow has only from the RB position.

We’ll be okay. We have talented guys to replace him. But we won’t be the same unstoppable machine on offense without him. Our empty sets will look slightly different. We may have to sub more than we did which made us so difficult to stop (see Kirby’s comments). Burrows safety blanket won’t be there on 3rd and 7. We will have to rely on our defense more.

But we still have the Heisman winner and statistical best SEC quarterback ever in our backfield.

Totally agree. TDP starts and I believe JE get's some reps after that. Just don't see CEH being healthy enough to play, but CEH has surpassed expectations all year.
