LSU Football is a monster.
LSU Baseball is a monster.
LSU women's basketball happened to have a HOF coach from Louisiana frustrated with her current job willing to listen.
LSU Basketball is an average program with bad facilities, a soon to be decimated roster, and we're about to get hammered by the NCAA.

He did this to minimize the negative impact to the football program. Sanctions for basketball will still come, and he’s gonna have to give the job to someone underwhelming to pass that threshold. May call his buddy Romar in Washington and throw him a bag to hold the reins for a couple seasons.
Then in a few years he will go at it with his best foot forward.

Not quite sure canning Wade now vs following the NCAA Tourney is going to do to make things better for LSU. Since LSU is basically admitting guilt now, wouldn’t it be better to go ahead and self impose a post season ban now?

frick Woodward never backed the basketball program with facilities and refuses to back the coach. Who would want to come here with that along with the pending sanctions?

Buzz Williams has yet to make the tournament at a&m and probably has to win the SEC tournament to even get in

Dude he’s lost 3 games. One during horrible conditions on a damn turf field. He’s a solid coach. People forget bc of their amazing freshman years, but a lot of our team is still young. extremely tAltented, but young. Young teams will have occasional bad games. He lost the second game to the #1 team in the nation. The Baylor loss was the worse loss but like I said, every team has that kind of game, especially in baseball.
