re: SEC Bias

Posted by SaDub225 on 11/22/22 at 9:35 pm to
Since bowl season of last year, the pac 12 is a pathetic 2-12 when playing a non Pac12 power 5 opponent. Those 2 wins were against a less than .500 Michigan State, and a 1 game above .500 Wisconsin.
The pac12 is a joke, the SunBelt is tougher than the pac12
Well I wasn’t replying to you originally but
quote:

Maybe this is just too much for you to see.

Or maybe bc just like you, I have no idea what goes on in the huddle or what is said on the sidelines. I can see what I think should happen, and disagree with the execution sometimes maybe, but I’m not going to slam and criticize the players based off of my opinion

quote:

He frequently checks down when a WR is OPEN down field

You’re the type of person who like never makes mistakes, and thinks everyone except you is wrong, huh? You have no idea what JD is being told by his coaches or if he was told specifically to throw it to someone or not
quote:

Daniels will have to play much better to beat the best teams
This is an opinion and your personal belief. Not
quote:

This is just a fact, friend

quote:

With the exception of Burrow. Daniels is executing at a high level unmatched among LSU previous QB’s. What more are you hoping for? Another Heisman?

That dude is a serious complete dumbfcuk…. Just about every talking head and former college football player turned analyst has had Daniels in their top 5 performers of the week the past 2 weeks. This week after Ole Piss he was a unanimous #1 on every list I have seen…
Dude is talking out of his arse.. trolling or is an ole piss fan and is still miserable
quote:

Not complaining about a TD,

You are complaining and it’s hilarious bc you sound like a miserable person complaining about a play that resulted in 6….

quote:

Throws like that are usually incomplete or intercepted

Except when they’re not….

What actually happened was a completion for a tuddy … Making up a completely different play/result and saying “well it “usually” happens” is the dumbest thing ever. The fact that it didn’t happen is exactly why Football and other real sports are played on the field. Bc the best teams/athletes find ways to make plays and deviate from the norm.

quote:

JD5 throws often like an average HS QB.

Is this supposed to be an insult or criticism of Daniels or are you trying to show everyone how delusional you are?
He has the 5th most passing yards in the SEC, he’s throwing for abt 8 yards per, has 12 tuddys and 1 pick…
Name a Highschool QB that would put up those type of passing stats through 8 games vs. D1, better yet SEC, level competition…

Eh they had a massive hit to their bullpen last year. The new transfer rule and you can overcome a tough year quick

Hope so, SEC baseball needs Mississippi St. good again so we can restore order.
I know Lsu will be good, so if the Bulldogs don’t have another anomaly of a year the order will be restored.

It’ll be another 15 years or whatever til y’all beat ‘Bama again, and Saban will be long gone.
Once grandpa Hooker leaves, y’all are going back to irrelevant.

Watch out, you’re probably going to get your account suspended or deleted for saying anything negative about Boutte.
quote:

At least he never threw a no look pass during a game.

Wdym? He was legit fricking blind. Wouldn’t that technically make every pass he threw, a no “look” pass? ….
frick I hate this inclusive arse, accept everybody as equal mentality we have in society nowadays… men are getting pregnant, children can decide their gender, pedophiles can use whatever bathroom they want… and now this. fricking blind people can get a valid drivers license ….
If the dude can’t handle something as nonchalant and simple as this, then he sure as shite won’t be able to handle 4/5 months of SEC football.
quote:

Gervase cost himself millions. He could have improved his draft stock. Now he is gonna flounder in the minors

The real money is when you get called up. These draft signing bonuses are essentially chump change when it’s all said and done, compared to the real pay day of being called up. So he didn’t really cost himself “millions”… maybe a couple hundred k but he’s betting on easily making up for that in a few years.
That’s 15 yards and out for the rest of the game nowadays.
quote:

Eh, Mainieri mailed it in on recruiting years ago, .

This isn’t necessarily true. There’s more than a few kids from this years stud class who originally committed to Manieri and Cain, who just kept their commitment after Manieri retired.

quote:

we missed on a bunch of players

This will always happen, in every sport, but especially in baseball. The game is way to unpredictable. The most recent notable example that comes to my mind is Tanner Hall. If someone would’ve told me that Tanner Hall would end up an All American and Ty Floyd would struggle the way he has, I would’ve laughed.

Yeah he talked about how him and his wife would be there with the Berry family, on Mik’d Up the other day.
quote:

And "JJ" is now an ambiguous term, as is "Coach Johnson".

I saw some dude tweet this and thought it was pretty funny when I read it.

“CJD” for Jay and let Josh have “CJJ”. That would solve any confusion that might happen in the future… ??

That’s crazy.
I’ve heard… or read lol, nothing but big love for him. Even from Arky fans. Matter fact a lot of arky fans (the true baseball fans who actually know the sport) were hoping that he was going to be the one replacing dinosaur Dave.
quote:

and the fact your cross division opponent is Florida doesn’t do you any favors

This proves you have no clue what you’re spewing, you’re just trolling.

We’ve lost to Florida like 3 times since 2010. That includes the past 2 years when we were at our absolute worst. Giving Florida that L every year usually provides the team a spark for the rest of the season. I think there’s a saying that describes it best. Something like, “Death. Taxes. and LSU beating Florida and A&M”
quote:

Make no mistake. The Twins are peeved, too. Club officials are unhappy with LSU’s conduct and how the school pursued Johnson, who was under contract.

I’m sure they are “peeved”. They just had a college baseball program come in and drop its nuts all over them…
How delusional can an organization really be though? They act like they aren’t a god damn AL Central team or something…

The Twins specifically put a stipulation in Johnson’s contract that prevented him from leaving for “another big-league team”… Bc what college program could ever compete with an MLB organization, right? Even better, what program could entice a coach to leave mid fricking season?… I got one answer for ya boys… LSU.

How can this be creepy? People are idiots.
They are calling you creepy for this; but will be the first ones reading an article with this information when journalists do the same exact thing.

1). Joe Burrow
**2). Johnny Manziel
Dc about the rest

** as much as I hate giving the faggies any kind of credit; i have to admit manziel was fun to watch.
Made it even better when I learned dude was a fricken drug addict too. Ballin’ out on the field and partying/enjoying his college years the right way like one’s supposed to.
quote:

I'm not so certain of this. I think aspirations of the NFL would or at least should keep them on their toes. Only a very few percentage of college players make it to the NFL so having an NIL deal is no guarantee

But if a kid is gets a big NiL deal, and payday, imo I feel like it diminishes a little of the appeal of the NFL. Or idk if that’s the right way to word what I mean… but like getting paid one day is pretty much the ultimate goal and motivation for these players to be the best they can be, and continue to always work hard, right? So if teams keep paying some of these big amounts weve seen/heard, before a recruit even proves himself (I.e. getting a deal before even playing a snap, just to get him to your school) why would they feel the hunger still to keep working so hard? You know what I mean?
quote:

You do realize (maybe you don’t) that Jay Johnson is using the Portal to rebuild his team.

CJJ’s not using only the portal, he’s using the portal and a no.1 top recruiting class to strengthen an already good core group of players.
quote:

Woodward has spent so much money on new staff and his previous mistakes that it’s harder than you think to get the same core group to keep writing checks.

What ‘previous mistakes’ are you referring to? Why would those “writing the checks” become reluctant now when so far every new hire is killing it and proving to be a good investment…
CMM is somehow signing transfers and convincing kids to come play basketball here despite everyone knowing that a postseason ban is all but inevitable for MBB… CJJ is looking like the next Skip Bertman, CKM is doing Mulkey things and will have a ‘ship in the very near future. CBK has been impressive and will have a lot of success here soon. I mean it’s been a while since this much optimism and excitement has surrounded damn near every sport.

quote:

LSU simply doesn’t have the resources of Texas A&M, Texas or Alabama with Saban at the helm. When Saban leaves Bama collapses again

I think NIL is getting way to much credit than it deserves. Imo, NIL will be more of a detriment than a “resource”. Think about it, who would you rather have on your team… a 3/4* kid that works his arse off every day trying to become the best he can be so that he can one day get a big NIL deal or 1st round signing bonus… or a kid that no longer works his arse off every day and has become complacent, entitled, and lazy bc he already got paid a big NiL deal, which essentially reassured him that he was already good enough and didn’t need to get better…
NiL and paying kids before they even have to do any kind of work to prove themselves, is going to backfire for a lot of teams.

As of today, it’s too late for R. Kelly.

I can’t even imagine how nasty our weekend rotation will be tho if he does come… Just think if Hurd gets healthy in time, he’s our for sure Friday night guy, then Tebrake Saturday dude, who would be a Friday dude anywhere else, then Sunday we have multiple options.. it will be a fun season next year if this dude makes it to campus. He’s an important piece to the domination puzzle CJJ is putting together

It’s what happens when you don’t respect the game. It humbles you.

Everyone tried warning you guys all season, but noooo yall were the best ever and knew better than anyone else somehow (even tho yallve never been successful before). Anyone that tried to warn you Vol fans, they were immediately called a “pussy”, or called “soft”. And you guys were making the game fun again blah blah blah….

A bit of humility goes a long way in this sport.

re: Proud of my Vols

You proud of your boy Gilbert? He should shoulder the blame for being a fricker this weekend. So selfish.

Finally that selfish, arrogant, cocky disrespect attitude that all the Vol fans love so much and encourage, comes back to rear it’s ugly headed
Gilbert can look his team in the eye after this weekend and take the blame for single handedly fricking this series for Tennessee.

All that gear hes on has made him extremely selfish and narcissistic I guess….
quote:

Someone who essentially started all of '21 is not young (Crews, Tre, Gio, Dugas, Cade, Alex, Thompson, Berry).

This is absolutely asinine… when you’re going against teams like Tennessee and A&M that have seniors and super seniors all over, playing 1 season is definitely still young. Just bc our guys were really good last year and immediate stars, doesn’t suddenly make them experienced upperclassman. You’re essentially making them a victim of their own success.
