Hope they get good and lathered up against powerhouse Duquesne.

Maason Smith might be convicted for murder.

Badass defensive lines win the big games.

I do expect our defense to have a strong game, but people really underestimate the value of having a game, even against a team as lowly as Duquesne, when your opponent has not had one.

I expect Florida State to have to show more than they'd like against Duquesne.

You have a game with LSU in week 2. They're looking ahead. You know they are.

Maybe, but wait until our coaches confront their fans about their Sissy Boy-colored game jerseys.
That's what made UCLA fold...

While true and may have been why UCLA came in prepared.

However, we were not prepared. Period. Without that advantage UCLA still would have probably beat us. We had a new zone defense specifically to better stop the run game and they ran all over us and at the same time had TE's beating multiple layers of the zone for long plays which, with a zone, a TE isn't supposed to be able to slip out like that with "eyes front".

Not only were we unprepared in the sense of motivation; we were unprepared to run our own designs.

And any advantage UCLA had (or FSU will have) is negated by the fact we had (or will have) film on them. Which if they keep it simple doesn't do much playbook wise. But you can definitely identify individual strenght/weakness and take advantage of it... or be prepared to stop it such as a transfer hard running RB.

FSU's offense will be MUCH improved in 2022. The WR core has received huge upgrades.

FSU wins this game. Prepare yourselves for a tougher battle than you are expecting.

A bunch of 3-star players in the trenches though.

Is your second sentence hedging against your first sentence?
