Nothing surprises me anymore. I could be wrong but BK may have done himself in at LSU. Not just the FSU AD but any AD faced with hiring a head coach should be wondering if BK has enough fire in his belly.
He was given arguably the best opportunity in NCAAF at LSU and he failed miserably. Instead of digging in and leading he sat on the proverbial throne and watched what was left of LSU turn into a dumpster fire.
His legacy is players talking about how unapproachable he was and how disconnected he was from his team. Not sure that makes him the most desirable hire.

know full well Blake Baker is about to get himself a raise.
I’m sorry but we’d be dumb to fall for that. He’s the highest paid coordinator. If he goes at this point he goes.
This past year was a transition.

FSU with the lack of money that they have is a death sentence to a coach.

Does Charlie Weiss have any to be a head coach? Many coordinators don’t want that pressure.

Not LSU related. Don't care.
He even explained in the topic how it could potentially be LSU related

I wouldn’t think Florida state would take a chance on a coordinator as bad as their hires have been. I’m sure they’re gonna try to throw everything they got at a proven coach

In the case of FSU I can't see Weis or Baker being anything more than like the 4th or lower options. You don't pay that kind of buyout to go hire coordinators for a big time P4 job.

Charlie Huff the true man of his word can be available.

In that case, a new job still opens and our guys have a high value.

The word on their 247 board is they are going to go all in on Stein or Chesney. It’s going to cost them 100 million total to get rid of the old staff and bring in a new one.
I'd be surprised to see this. They're strapped for cash as it is. Doesn't even include paying for next year's roster.

Charlie Huff is going to get a big job soon. But FSU prolly won’t look to steal a Memphis coach to replace the guy they stole from Memphis.

I think drinkwitz would do well at FSU.

BK is interested. He says, “I can’t lose to FSU in week 1 if I’m coaching FSU.”

Any coach who takes that job has to understand that Florida State isn’t even in the top 25 nationally in NIL and revenue-sharing resources available to build a roster. It’s a good job, but not a great job.

Aren’t they in deep debt as an athletic dept?
