LSU is 2-3 in five previous bowl appearances in Orlando, a run that includes Citrus Bowl victories over Louisville (2017) and Wake Forest (1979). Following the 1979 game, former LSU head coach Charlie McClendon became Florida Citrus Sports’ executive director, a title he held for two years.

Game history means little. New coaches and players mostly every time we've met. That said, Tigers win

Stetson, Duke, Wake Forest and Texas Tech are amongst the teams included in that tally for Florida State.

I am officially getting pumped! This LSU probably had this game circled on the calendar as soon as last year's game was over. Last year, the first game under a new head coach who only had 21 scholarship players when he arrived lost by 1 to FSU last year. Special teams cost us the game (I know there were mistakes throughout the game, just like any other game, but SPT didn't get it done).

FSU has more returning players than any other FBS team, but I think the defense will play pissed off. Its sucks Maason Smith can't play, but Harold Perkins is an animal and just his presence on the field makes a difference.

Let's Geaux!!!

This.

The 9-0-2 is telling. Not the wins or losses, but the ties, which indicates those games were at least 30 years ago. Pretty sure none of those baws will be suiting up next Sunday.

I guess we're screwed. Just go and try to have a good time anyway. Maybe Camping World Stadium has good concessions.

LSU football has never lost a game when I was in Orlando...ever. Even when they were playing somewhere else and I was in Orlando.

This one is done, start planning your post game celebratory drinks now. We've got this.

FSU is actually 10-0-2 not 9-0-2. Noles beat Oklahoma in Orlando last year.
