Taking a peak on their board and wow their confident. Calling their wrs against our dbs a mismatch and believe they’ll move the ball on us. They must have forgotten about stingley and Fulton and Vincent starting to play well. The defense is peaking at the right time Florida has a good receiving group but I’m confident our dbs can win their battles on the outside against Florida. They also believe their tight end Pitts can pose problems against stingley another fanbase that assumes stingley can get picked on bless their heart.....

I never understand these threads, of course Florida fans think they can win and will try to rationalize areas where they can take advantage.

We are doing the same thing.

I don't get that impression at all from their board. I think most are saying that they need their offense to move the ball to have a chance to win. Florida is going to have to win this game on the defensive side of the ball, and they have the players to do it. Their defensive line will be much better than anything we've seen this year so far. Our offensive line is going to have to protect Burrow, and we are going to have to creatively scheme to slow down their pass rush. I suspect you'll see some screens and quick passes early on to try to slow down Florida's front 4.

That’s fair their d-line is my biggest concern heading into this game, that’s an area they absolutely have the advantage. Chase also has to win his battles against cj Henderson he’s an amazing man corner

It's going to be hard for him to carve us up while lying on his back.

I remember all week Texas reporters and their fans were saying how stingley would be exposed on a national stage against an elite receiver like Collin Johnson and he ended up holding him to 0 catches and targeted 2 times lmao

Mea culpa if wrong, but Trask is a red shirt junior who had not started anywhere/anytime really till now. That lack of playing time has to be for a reason. He did do ok vs AU but even Gus said that the crowd got to them, an experienced team,so it is reasonable to say TS will get to Trask, a relatively rookie. And he has a bum knee.

I have no problem with their confidence... Its what fans do...

This will be the 1st time many of their team will be in Tiger Stadium at night for a top 10 match up. This alone makes me feel a wee bit sorry for their student athletes..

Two interceptions by our DBs. Trask will be doing the Losers' Limp by the fourth qtr.

The only game Trask has played away is when he came in when Franks got hurt at kentucky....last 3 games have been at home and now he comes into death valley at night...should be interesting

Half the posts in their threads say LSU and UF have similar offenses

Most of them have been saying we are putting those numbers up against bad defenses but apparently they think they have been playing great offenses...4 of their 6 games have been first year QBS..the 2 that had experience were Towson and Tennessee...Tennesse has since replaced him.

I believe Mullen is going to manage him well like he's done with most QBs that have faced us recently. Are we going to get carved up? No, but he's going to be competent.

That lack of playing time has to be for a reason.
He doesn't throw a fast ball, and his downfield throws aren't always accurate.
Those two things are a recipe for failure with two 1st round corners and a safety that will go in the Top 10.

Additionally, they scored on two big plays.
A slant that went to the house.
And a stuffed run that bounced around the outside for a long TD.
If all they do is score twice against LSU... most LSU fans will take that because the LSU offense and QB are light-years better than Auburn.

Trask is pretty good.

The reason he didn't start in high school was because he was behind D-Erik King, the QB now at Houston.

At his prior years at Florida, he was hurt both years.

So although Trask isn't a world beater, you can't just say he's not that good because he didn't start.
