They’re all the best players their school has ever seen for the most part. No one is asking these guys to bunt in highschool.
Not to mention bunting is actually pretty damn difficult to do with elite pitchers. Sticking your face into a 90+ mph fastball with movement isn’t exactly natural. Most guys find it easier to hit than bunt.
