And I've said it on here for years, if Georgia and LSU were to land competent coaches
“for years”

fast forward to next year - all his superstars are gone. will it be the 3rd year in a row they don't make it to the championship?

What? They were in the championship last season and won the SEC championship.

Alabama will be less of a dynasty, but they will still have those juggernauts every few years as long as Saban is there. Look at the recruiting board, Bama is still recruiting better than anyone else.

For him to say there were numerous questionable calls on bamas side tells you it was pretty bad

I got the impression he was talking about coaching calls.

Bama is definitely not as dominant as a few years ago but let’s not pretend they’re not going to be a perennial contender as long as Saban is there. They just won it all in 2020 and were runner up last year.

Im hoping Saban stays long enough to run the program in the ground like Joe Pa did. Its going to be hard to promise NC rings after this year.

How many years has Saban dominated college football? If he was smart he would hang it up on his terms but he probably will slowly fade and then die shortly after retiring... where have we seen that before?

I hope he’s there til 2030

Thats what you get when you bring in a POS, like Billy Obrien. The rot smells so dam good from here.

Imagine if Nick didnt have Bryce Young last night? Kelly is going to get the better of Nick when its all said and done and a few of them may get ugly for the gump faithful.

Bama is 2 plays away from having 4 losses this year. On the other hand they are two plays away from being undefeated.

Teams don’t fear Bama like they did just a few years ago. I agree this may be the beginning of the end for this Bama run.

With all that said I do think Saban has another national championship run left in him.

It is amazing how spoiled a fan base can get. Saban brought Alabama an unmatched dynasty in modern sports and it was a bad year if they didn't win the national championship. But yet now there are a lot of fans cursing him and telling him to resign because they have two losses. Hell, I remember many a year, including this one, when we would have been super stoked to only have two losses.

Oh now he wants to come rub up on LSU’s legs.

He’s calling it like he sees it, just as he aalways has. He used to consistently say that Bama was far better than us. It was never because he was a Bama homer; it was because Bama WAS far better.

The reality check they experience in the next 8 years before Saban runs out his contract will almost make the last 15 years worth it.

He didn’t uproot his family to beat Saban for $50,000.

Weather u like it or not Saban is the standard! He came here to have the ability to match wits against Saban with equal talent which he would be able to have done at ND. I think we now have a coach with a system and we can win 5 or 6 NC over the next 10 years.

Seems far fetched. Beating Saban is one thing but uprooting your family and changing HC jobs for an opp to beat Saban? Cmon meow.

That's what BK told media earlier in the season. But of course that's not the only reason, he wants to win a natty.
